Past trip
in Huron-Manistee National Forests, MichiganBear Track Campground offers serene views, wooded lots, and a short walk to Little Manistee River. A perfect spot to wade in and enjoy the cool water. Group sites are available right on the river as well. Some lots are a bit on the dusty side, but plenty of space on each site and most sites are well spaced apart. Overall, a great rustic campground.
Past trip
in Fort Custer State Park, MichiganI'm so thankful to live somewhat close to this woodsy, yet modern campground! The plethora of hiking and biking trails, beautiful sandy beach, and well-cared for campground make this campground a gem. We especially enjoyed the nighttime family bonfire gatherings (think: guitar+fun campfire songs+s'mores!) put on by the hosts, and the delicious hot coffee they offered near the entrance on our last day there. The bathrooms & showers are kept very clean, and the playground is centrally located. There's a great field area for night time star viewing, or to play a game of frisbie during the day. The campground felt very safe, and our children rode bikes nearby during the day. We can't wait to stay again!
