For the Love of Sacred Horses
in Yogini J.’s Land, MinnesotaPeaceful farm stay w/ sweet horses
We loved our stay at For the Love of Sacred Horses! It was so peaceful. We especially loved the horses stopping by for their brief hellos. Joy was an excellent host with such amazing stories. We plan to return!
Closed by County Planning Rent our
in Camphand Ranch, ColoradoBeautiful setting with a pond and snow capped mountains as the view. Camper needs some plumbing improvements & working refrigerator that the host is working on and warned us about. We enjoyed tending to the goats and chickens - except for a feisty male goat that roamed the property and we always needed to carry a stick and keep an eye out for his aggression. It was manageable, and he was fun to take on a walk, just couldn’t quite relax because of him. There is a lot of “stuff” on the property which makes it look junky - but the great view from the camper made that easy to ignore. Jon was a wealth of information on the area and on farming - and directed us to some beautiful nearby hikes! We enjoyed our stay.
Guest Cabin
in Wondernut Farm, CaliforniaTreehouse
in Wondernut Farm, CaliforniaSleeping in the treehouse was a dream! And loved that a very friendly cat slept with us both nights. The hosts were very friendly.
My only hangup was that the outdoor kitchen was not kept up to my standards of cleanliness and thus drew more flies that I was comfortable with (any outdoor kitchen on a farm will draw pests, but there were more than there needed to be).
But I would certainly stay there again - and just use my own camp cooking set up.
Thanks for offering us this unique experience!
