Great week of camping. Good amounts of shade at the site.

Had another great stay at this site. For me its the best site I've found for car/tent camping with available showers for many miles.

Charming campsite that met all expectations. The host (Lori) was very responsive, easy-going and friendly. There is a convenient central potable water access location, to go along with the showers. I could not figure out how to turn the water on in one of the two shower stalls but the other worked great (water as hot as you could possibly want & nice showerheads/pressure, etc) so I didn’t bother with the other one further. I’m sure if I would’ve asked the host could’ve explained what I was missing. There were two portable toilets (non-flushing) that were about as nice as something like that can be, and a running water sink with complimentary soap next to them to wash your hands. I felt the rocks on the designated camping pad (of site 6) were a little too big and sharp to risk setting my tent up on (even with the footprint layer) so I set it up just to one side in the grass. The low light pollution and open central field make for good star-gazing. The field is also nice for playing games w/ kids though there is some slope to most of it.
