in The New Forest, North CarolinaPicturesque & dreamy!
We had the pleasure of staying for a night at site 2 (I believe) and aside from the rain, everything was perfect. Charles was a delight to chat with and gave us great information about the property and amenities - we're sad we didn't get the chance to see the cemetery! But hopefully we'll be back in the fall. While there, we saw their goats and horses, deer, plenty of birds, tons of fireflies, and I always love hearing a whippoorwill. We highly recommend The New Forest!

in Community of Consciousness, FloridaLovely spot for a weekend getaway!
My boyfriend and I spent the weekend camping here and though we weren't quite as secluded as we thought we would be, we had a very enjoyable time! AND our host Lorelei was awesome and chill. I will say: if you're the type that really wants to feel like you're alone with nature, if you're looking for tons of additional things to do (ie hiking trails, fishing, swimming, etc) this may not be the most ideal spot for you. But if you're like us and you just want a safe place to sleep under the stars for a couple nights with a nice warm fire pit, this will do the job.
