in County Line Hobby Farm, ColoradoCute longmont camping
I loved the atmosphere of Theresa and Tim's land, you're 5 minutes from downtown Longmont and near Union Reservoir. Available utilities/amenities like wifi, cellular service, potable water, picnic tables, fire pits, bins, and excellent hospitality make this a comfortable stay. They also provide rentals for stand-up paddleboards, firewood, and more. Theresa and Tim are extremely welcoming! Great spot for RVs and trailers. And the ducks are a bunch of cuties!!

in Terminal 4, CaliforniaHonest review of a unique campsite
Camping at Terminal 4 was a very unique experience. Bobby is an amazing host who is extremely hospitable, he took time to show us around the property and made us feel welcomed. The campsite is only 30 minutes from downtown San Francisco but feels a thousand miles away. The campsite is a part of a large property that sits between the San Francisco and San Pablo Bays. The campsite is very clean and on a flat gravel section of the property. There are two port-a-potties at the campsite, both of which are very clean and well maintained. The sitting area and the fire pit is around the corner from the actual campsites, its about a 5-10 minute walk. Keep in mind, fires are not allowed at the campsites. Close to the campsites is a path that leads to the private beach. The private beach is more of a rocky coastline not a sandy beach. It's still beautiful and worth the visit, but no place for a volleyball game. I'd recommend this place for anyone who wants a fun alternative place to stay near San Francisco. It was easy, stress free, and unique.
Mountain tent camping
in Camp 🏕 Gold Dust Vineyard, CaliforniaCute winery based campsite
This was our first time at a winery and it did not disappoint. The view of vineyard itself was absolutely beautiful. If you take the time to do the wine tasting (make sure you book ahead of time!) it is worthwhile, as they offer a variety of excellent wines and ciders. Aaron took the time to teach us about the winery, the wine, and the wine making process. Aaron and Amy are super kind and hospitable. There are a couple campsites, both of which are clean and well maintained. Plus there are several spots for car camping. There was an electrical outlet and fresh water spigot accessible to all campers. The bathrooms were super clean, there are cute picnic tables, hammocks, and fairy lights around the campsites. Overall, I would highly recommend this site- especially, if you enjoy wine!
