Past trip
in Smokey Acres, FloridaThis place is a hidden gem! Itâs tucked away right in the middle of Brooksville and it feels like youâre in the middle of no where while youâre there! Camp sites are large, the stars are bright at night, the bathroom and shower are more what I would call âoutdoor bathroomâ but they do have walls and a roof. It was a joy taking a hot shower in the middle of a rainstorm and watching the palm tree and rain outside. The owner checked on us right after we arrived and communication lines were always open. We will definitely be back! We camp in the area several times a year.

If you want privacy and a very different camping opportunity, this is your spot. We camped under 2 giant trees in the middle of a horse field. The horses mostly ignored us. Itâs kind of buggy there so bring bug spray. Lindsay was very helpful and immediately responded if I sent her a message although we didnât get the opportunity to meet her. Very cool place!

This place was amazing! The grounds are so clean and maintained. Tommy was very nice, even popped in and checked on us after we got set up for the night. The campground has a shower house, a general store and a slide in the middle of the lake. We would definitely go back! Tommy locks the front gates at 8 pm and we liked that as well!
