in Assateague Island National Seashore, Maryland
Before going making a reservation is a good idea because the island is a very popular campsite, the horses really draw wildlife lovers in. There are plenty of bugs out at night so make sure to bring lots of bug spray. Camping on the beach is always a blast but make sure to protect your skin with a lot of sunblock it gets very hot.
