Past trips
in Gaviota State Park, California
open spots right under a train bridge. beautiful beach & scenery, but no privacy and noisy.
in Doheny State Beach, California
Toughest campground in the state to get into. Last minute cancels sometimes, but tight spots to get into for anything over 22'.
in South Carlsbad State Beach, California
Love the cliffs, 120 steps down to the beach.
in Florence Marina State Park, Georgia
crowded, tight, noisy at 4 am
( Fisherman's heaven) but great lil town 2 blocks away.
in Inyo National Forest, California
Bears, noisy kids, people that don't comprehend mother nature :( Lots of kids screaming in the river meant no fish for us. NO CELL service!
in Inyo National Forest, California
Watch for rattlers! RV ok, but tent??? WE've seen rattle snakes there 3x
in Inyo National Forest, California
Some spots are nice, but 1/2 are in a strong wind tunnel, and 1/3 have no shade. It can get quite hot.
in Inyo National Forest, California
Tough to pull in a RV over 21' in most spots. Nice hosts, clean bathrooms and most people are good campers.
