Andrea and John have obviously spent a lot of life and love working their farmstead. We rolled in tired and hungry, and turned the kids loose on the blueberries, which bought us some time. They invited us to peruse the garden and pick what we needed for dinner, which was welcome because our plan up to that point was spaghetti with hot dogs. We picked a zucchini, an onion, a green pepper, and some kale and sautéed it up in their outdoor kitchen, and served it on a picnic table under the little orchard.
The tent they have set up was a welcome change after 5 days in a camper van, and we all enjoyed it.
