Green Mantis Farm is a small family farm on a hillside meadow with picturesque scenes of pastures, valleys, forests and mountains. We raise predominantly Border Leicester sheep on 40-acres of grass pasture using organic, sustainable methods. On our farm we also raise chickens and geese for eggs and meat. Vegetables crops are for ourselves aside from large porcelain garlic bulbs for seed. Sustainability is important to us. The farm is completely solar powered. Water comes from our well and heating is from wood sourced locally.

Big Blue Yurt on a Sheep Farm
in Green Mantis Farm, WashingtonVanessa and her partner left the yurt clean and then some.
We appreciated their interest in the farm and eagerness to learn about plants and setting up their own gardens. They are welcome back anytime.
