Cool spot and courteous hosts but the cabin needs some maintenance inside and out. Also, 10 cats under the cabin is bout 8 too many. A brief note to guests placed in the cabin or posted on the fridge, regarding wi-fi, cable, garbage dumping, etc. would be helpful to arriving guests. There were some details emailed to us in advance of arrival, but cell service at the site is weak, so difficult to access your e-mail while on site until you can get on the wi-fi. Otherwise, the price is reasonable for such a beautiful location.
Such a great little getaway! And not too far from city life. Will definitely be back! Tammy was great while we were there, and Colin was awesome in communication before and after. No cell reception so make sure you come prepared, but there’s a beautiful river view and you can kayak, and hike and then come back to your cabin and start a fire at the pit to gather round and enjoy the stars at night. Will definitely be back!
We had a wonderul time at Dos Rios in the bunk house. The picnic table on the large porch was probly my favorite feature or maybe the blackout shades for sleeping in. They have amentities like pans, utensils, coffee maker, bath towels and linens. Maybe I didnt pay attention to the details online but we had packed linens and small appliances. You will have everything you need to have a relaxing stay.

It was one of our best trips. The bunk house was brilliant and we swam, kayaked and went cliff jumping..... came home water logged and tired from all the fun..... didn’t want to leave!

Great place, a wonderful part of the world!
I rented this place for a weekend hunting trip in Mason. Made the stay for 4 adults great. Cabin was nice and cozy, and the scenery was beautiful. The cabin had all we needed, all we had to bring was groceries and personal items. And the Park Host, Bobby, was very nice and offered his assistance for anything we needed. The location has WiFi too! The place was a great touch and helped with embracing the hill country. I definitely plan to visit again. Thanks Dos Rios RV Park!
We had a lovely stay at Dos Rios Cabin. We normally tent camp but after camping during Memorial Day weekend we wanted to stay a little cooler during Labor Day.
The cabin was relatively clean, we were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities provided as well which made it easier on us! It was great with having our 3 year old with us cause we were able to cool down after playing outside and we were able to put him down early in the cabin while my husband, dog and myself got to enjoy a little more time by the fire at night. We enjoyed the river by swimming, tubing and fishing and took little snoozes on the hammock behind the cabin. Being close to town was convenient. We were also just a 15 minute drive from the Eckert Bat Cave, which was hands down one of the coolest experiences- the drive out is beautiful and the actual Bat Cave is an experience you don't want to miss out on.
Overall I'd recommend this place for a getaway for people who don't want to tent camp but want to have all the wonderful nature perks to camping.

My friends and I booked this cabin to be home base for our weekend of camping, which ended up being PERFECT. It was so nice to have a place to escape to for napping or preparing meals. This would be especially convenient if you’re traveling with kids, and want to put them to bed and stay up/out to enjoy the stars/campfire without disturbing them. The cabin was clean, spacious, and had a nice roomy shower with *great* water pressure.
