Site 2 - “Roadside Summit” with picnic table, fire ring, and 50amp electrical hookup. This is a pull through site with grade. Lake can be accessed with state park fee at the marina entrance and the north shore -OR- on the south side via five minute ride or 1.25 mi walk. Note: this is a shared private beach for the properties on this side of the lake. It is included with your booking and limited to that time. It has many amenities including: large gazebos on artificial turf, fire pits, playground, flush toilets, water, and docks. (See Add-Ons if you need a boat slip for the day or overnight). Road in is dirt with minor grade up to property. Notes: ——— * Wildlife - In late summer, cattle graze nearby. In spring, you may see sheep and baby lambs on the way to the south beach access. There are rattle snakes, bunnies, and we’ve seen a scorpion or two. *Weather - Summer days can be quite hot with cooler nights. There is no shade on the property. Wind gusts carrying dust can occur. It’s a good idea to check weather app for conditions. *Landscape/Views - Utah natural landscape changes markedly with the seasons. Some photos may reflect green grasses, when these dry out mid summer, they can produce fine stickers to be aware of with long hair pets, kids, and ankles in general. Views can change depending on developing neighboring properties. Sunsets either at the lake or the property are unobstructed and often dramatic. Night sky viewing is also pretty awesome as there is very little light pollution.

Far enough away from the lights of surrounding towns of Spring City, Mt. Pleasant and Ephraim, the Milky Way and stars will amaze. Come and visit for a night or a week. This site is located an a lovely farm and as it has only one site, you have complete privacy. The host was a very friendly gentleman who welcomed me on arrival and checked again on me in the morning but otherwise left me to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Although the water was turned off for the season, I did have electricity. I would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Trip to The Rockin Robbins Ranch

What a beautiful experience. We stayed for two nights and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The weather was perfectly crisp and fall-like, and Lynnellen made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. She shared fresh vegetables from her garden and repeatedly encouraged us to make ourselves comfortable, and we truly felt like we could. Each morning, she made us breakfast that left our bellies happy and full, and Sunday dinner was incredibly nourishing. The conversations we shared were filled with warmth and sincerity. You can tell Lynnellen is someone full of love and joy who genuinely wants to share it with others, and you can see that same spirit reflected in the people passing through her home. If you’re looking for a place that radiates community, love, and connection, this is it. Our hearts feel very full after just two days here. Beautiful designed - especially the campfire place. Great views! But it did feel less remote than expected - the campsite is close to the main house and you can see some trailers. Host was super kind and very responsive.

Lynnellen is a wonderful host! We rented a spot to park our rv for the night. She met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of her property. Everything was as advertised for the rv hookup but what really struck us was Lynnellen’s generosity! We would highly recommend stay at her place!

Really enjoyed this spot… It was just the quiet I needed an expansive beauty. Directions and communication were excellent. It was easy to find. I had read some reviews about it being windy and I got lucky and had no wind.! It was chilly… First ice on my windshield all season! There is another house right there which at first seems a little invasive, but actually it felt safer to me to know people were around as I was traveling solo. Thank you El Conejo!

4 nights at Harward Family Ranch

Our family just recently spent 4 nights tent camping at the Haward Family Ranch and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The ranch was well maintained, beautiful and way better than expected. The port-a potties were clean, firewood was provided and we absolutely loved the green plush grass. Having the whole site to our selfs made it very private, peaceful and relaxing. We had a fun time playing tether ball and using the swing set. We also loved the fact that it was conveniently located near stores and hiking trails. Definitely recommend others to stay and would love to visit again in the future.

Nicely maintained lawn, trees, sites made this stop a little bit of an oasis. Clean restrooms and showers also helped. Enjoyed watching storms come in that evening.

We loved our time at Parker's beach site! We camped at Beach Site 1 and had a great time. Would recommend bringing bug spray, as we started to fight some mosquitoes after the sun went down, but beyond that, the night was great. Parker was a great host and was very responsive - We bought firewood from him and had a nice big fire in one of the big firepit bowls. The bathroom house was awesome, just a bit of a walk from the beach. Our sleep was excellent, and we had a great drive into SLC the next day. Would absolutely recommend camping here!

Directions were good site is very unique beautiful surroundings wide open space. It gets pretty windy and at at dusk, we were dealing with a bunch of bugs. They didn’t sting, but there were lots of them. There’s a bathroom and a shower. It’s fairly basic no hot water but of course you are very remote there. Host was very responsive and informative. Would definitely stay there again as it is so very unique to wake up and be on a beach!

Long time Bed and Breakfast operation. They are a loving and generous family on a beautiful property. They share with you their magestic views of nature on this well loved place. They will welcome you into their home and ask that you make yourself comfortable. This magical spot has it all; a lively garden with chickens, song birds, dazzling sun rises and glorious sun sets. Finally, there are wonderful opportunities to tour the local mountains! We definitely would like to stay there again.

This was an easy stay on our road trip to Utah. Very simple facilities, no shower but it is clean and safe.

Eagle View is actually accessible by road despite the description here and on the parks website, though the road is dirt and can quickly become problematic if recent rain and not in 4x4. Very beautiful scenery and looks like this campground (and painted rock) doesn't get much traffic - was only person there on that side of lake.
