Absolutely loved our stay at Fox Nook!!! Charles was such a good host. Checked in on us and made sure to have plenty of firewood for us. The campsite felt very secluded. It was a short walk to the lake and was the most perfect spot! Would definitely recommend! And can’t wait to pass through Arkansas again because we will definitely be coming back to stay!

We had an absolute blast camping out here this past weekend! Three of us came from St. Louis with two dogs, and met up here with our other two friends driving from Fort Worth. We had two cars, three tents, a ton of chairs and had MORE than enough space. The place was beautiful, primal, and Charles was a very helpful and responsive host. Our pups had the best time running around and rolling in the leaves, and us humans had a great time chilling by the fire and enjoying the view of the changing fall leaves and star-filled night sky! We didn’t have the chance to check out the lake, but we are going to try to make this meet-up a yearly thing at the amazing Fox Nook Campsite! If you are looking for a serene, primal camping experience, look no further than Charles’ place. 1 hour from Hot Springs NP, 10/10 experience, 100% FUN

This is a gravel parking lot that is sizable, has power hookups, has water hookup, and sewer hookup, and a huge shade tree. This is in the city, so there is traffic constantly by the spot, but it is peaceful enough to get rest if you're traveling through, on the way to somewhere else. Richard was a wonderful host, and actually met me at the spot to make sure that I could get in and situated. It was very appreciated. Since I was parked under the shade tree for the proximity to the power hookup, my starlink barely worked because of the obstruction overhead. This is not the host's fault, it's just how it was, and I'm letting everyone know if you've got Starlink, this may be an impediment to your connection. I got very good directions, and since Richard was present, I was on the phone with him when I pulled in, so everything went smoothly.

There was some confusion concerning check in, but we got it straightened out. Great location if visiting Crater of Diamond State Park. We had one of the tents, which was very roomy and stayed cool despite the high temperatures.

Pine County is dry so keep that in mind. Other than that the site itself is awesome. Beautiful surroundings and the lake is awesome. Charles is dope he’s responsive and wants to help. Also if your someone who loves when it rains while you’re camping, it’s beautiful. The thunderstorm and rain outside my tent was honestly the best thing ever. I would definitely come back. Murfreesboro has a cute town center. Not far from Crater of Diamonds or the Ka-Do-Ah historical site.

We loved this peaceful little camp site in the woods! The space was large enough for us to set up two tents and for our kids to run around. The trails to the Lake were easy to navigate too. One of our favorite parts was just sitting outside in the dark watching the fireflies and listening to all the bugs chirping away.

The property is absolutely stunning—Will and Austyn are clearly putting so much love and care into the land, and it shows. The tiny house itself was perfect: cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. After a day of exploring the nearby area, soaking in the hot tub under the stars was pure magic. Will and Austyn were the best hosts—so warm, welcoming, and fun to chat with. We truly felt at home. We’ll definitely be back!
