Swan Gully is in the town of Bromelton, South East Queensland (right near Beaudesert). Our location is perfect for easy access from Brisbane, Ipswich, and the Gold Coast at only 45 - 60 mins from either.We have over 900 acres of camping, 4WDing and other activities. Tracks range from easy off-road right up to "winches and lockers required".
Bring your hiking shoes and mountain bikes to go on your own adventure. Great space for the kids to explore.
Toilets and hot shower (coin operated). No access to town water, please bring our own drinking water. Pets welcome. We have room for horses too!

Very welcoming hosts, easy to follow map, with great marking, even with the amount of people camp sites were secluded. Unfortunately rain meant the 4x4 tracks were closed but the limited tracks we did do to the camp site, were great so very keen to get back and try them out on a dry weekend.

Had a great one-night camp with my pup. Met the local cattle on the way in, and set up camp at dusk, close to the entrance at an existing fire pit near a babbling brook. It was a rainy weekend, so a quick and simple setup had us relaxing to the sound of the rain in no time. We had a friendly local pup poke her head in before bed, and woke in a beautiful gully with scattered showers. A very beautiful property with incredibly hospitable hosts who made sure I arrived safe and well. Very keen to come back for a weekend with friends and family, and explore the 4x4 tracks.
Truly an awesome place. One of the best 4wd parks I’ve been to for sure. Unlike other places you can have the real camping experience here. Definitely would go back.
Lovely campsite very much targeted at 4x4 lovers. We had a beautiful spot in the top of the ridge which allowed us some privacy from the other campers.
It was a little bit noisy with cars driving in at 9pm, although we were awake so this didn’t bother us. Site has toilets and showers, however the toilets were disgusting (were not clean and sadly people hadn’t flushed their business) and the showers were coin operated.
We met the owners and care takers who were lovely, and very inviting. I would recommend, especially 4x4 enthusiasts.
overall nice spot however caretakers run the place like a warship. one small mistake almost cost us half our stay due to them over exaggerating the events to the owner
Definitely more somewhere to spend the night if you want to go 4x4ing and not a destination for camping. I was really excited about this one due to the views shown in the listing.
We asked to camp up the top and were given a map and directions (the lady was very nice) but couldn't for the life of us find anywhere that resembled a campsite (it was all track. We assumed we must have got ourselves lost but confirmed with a couple of friendly strangers that we were where we thought we were on the map. So we ended up back down the bottom to get a site, along the main road into the site.
The markings need to be improved, locations were numbered on the map but we did not come across any roads etc actually marked as we drove.
The toilets weren't very nice and ran out of toilet paper.
Surely a cracker of a spot if you just want to 4wd and set up a swag to sleep, but if like us you're looking for a spot that prioritises the camping experience maybe keep looking.
