Nestled beside a massive Moreton Bay fig tree, whilst kicking back at your camp site you could see wallabies, echidnas, bush turkeys and more wildlife passing by. There is another site across the track 'Old Oak Tree', so if you want to make your experience extra private you can book out both sites, provided it hasn't been booked out prior. The property is located near Maclag

There is another site across the track 'Old Oak Tree', so if you want to make your experience extra private you can book out both sites, provided it hasn't been booked out prior. The property is located near Maclagan, a small town situated at the foothills of Bunya Mountains National Park. The majestic Bunya Mountains were formed 30 million years ago and thought to be the remains of an old volcano. The national park features both wet and dry rainforests, grasslands and open bush supporting a diverse range of plant and animal species.
From December to March, Bunya pine trees drop cones containing edible seeds known as Bunya nuts. For those keen to do a bit of site-seeing, there is an abundance of nature walks, cycling, historical tours in Toowoomba and Dalby.

lovely spot tucked away, nothing else for miles. great base to explore bunya mountains, very kind and considerate host, as I was arriving in bad weather he checked in to make sure I was ok. mobile reception is lousy, making it even more enjoyable, will defo return. thanks for having me
If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful getaway, this is the place to go! Great scenic views, beautiful temperatures and an awesome array of birdlife. When it was time to leave we did not want to! Thank you to Kahn for sharing this beautiful spot with us. We would definitely visit again!
Beautiful location and camp site to disconnect from the world, or to travel up to the Bunya Mountains National Park. Thank you to Kahn for making this piece of his property available to others to enjoy. I would recommend this to anyone that asks.
Private, relaxing, peaceful
We knew as soon as we arrived this place was just the type of camp we like. The approach is up a narrow dirt/grassy track and through several gates. The area was surrounded by grassy hills and trees and wide open blue skies. Kahn and his family are awesome, friendly hosts, and are working on their newly acquired property adding improvements like toilets, showers, kitchen, and more to come. We found the camp site was quite cool with late sunrise and early sunsets due to being nestled into the hills but absolutely gorgeous views from up on top of the property. It offered a perfect private and peaceful stay from where we toured the Bunya Mtns, dingo fence and Dalby show. We enjoyed having a campfire every day and listening to the whip birds and other animals. Thank you Kahn
Very private and surronded by natur
One of the best camp sites we ever stayed at. Very private and surronded by the nature. Very quiet at night and the landscape is pretty with rolling hills and the drive to the site is very picturesque. We have stayed there for 4 nights and loved the area so much. Very close to Bunya Mountains NP. Lots of wallabies and birds. Grounds are welcoming and well maintained. The composting toilet is a great bonus. Will definitely recommend to ourf riends and come back in the future.
