My wife and I had such a nice time on the farm. We both loved the cabin and how you could get up and close with all the animals. It was a nice touch having the door next to the kitchen set up where you could pat and brush the cows and goats right there! We also were given a jar of chicken feed and some hay for the animals so we could feed them when we wanted - and they were all so used to humans. Rustic camping at its finest ! Myself and my 3 boys had a blast at the shack. The place has everything you need to enjoy a good cook up over the fire pit. Billy coffee followed by baked bean jaffles. Very clean and no insects whatsoever. Denis even arranged a tour of the Cotton Ginery that was very interesting and to top it of a ride in the tractor. Rose was a great host and her chickens may now have anxiety after my boys chasing them. Such a great stay and both Rose and Denis are of the kindest of people. We will be back.

Weekend Trip to Runella

We loved our stay at the Shack! It provided a good inbetween from camping and cabining . Our favourite parts were getting cozy around the fire place! Thank you again to the lovely hosts(Rose ands Dennis) who were nice enough to show us around and let us feed the horses ! This is a perfect getaway to take a break from the city!
