A private sanctuary with 30 acres located just north of Waupaca's Chain O' Lakes with groomed hiking and/or biking trails. Terrain is varied with ponds, hills, and valleys. Shower, potable water, and rec room available.
PLEASE NOTE with heavy rain all wheel drive (AWD) is needed to park next to your site. If you don't have AWD, there's parking by the rec room. We can transport you to your site if there are issues.
Firewood is available for purchase in addition to a 24 x 32 rec room/storm shelter. Kayaks and SUPs available to rent too!
The rec room offers a fun room full of games (ping pong, darts, and other fun games) and a living room area with multiple TVs. We have a kitchen area with a refrigerator (no water) with snacks, pizza, and beverages available.
Head into town for shopping, coffee, and baked treats. Or head to the Chain for crystal clear water, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, skiing, or dining at one of Waupaca's signature restaurants.
Clear Water Camping has a rich history. The location is where the stagecoach house (still standing) was built in 1847 to support the nearby granite quarry.

The property is located on 2 quiet lakes, with great opportunities for swimming, fishing, and boating. The swimming area has a great beach and a diving raft (depending on the season). We also have a large dining hall for indoor activities, and several outdoor program areas. We are just south of the Chain-o-lakes and Waupaca, so there's plenty to do a short drive away.

There's 2 properties, both beautiful and special.
"The Twenty" is a neat campsite right on the Little Wolf River. This land has been in my family for generations. My dad tells stories of fishing the holes while they made hay when he was a kid. Definitely fishing opportunities, as well as floating down the river (tube, canoe, kayak, sup). There's a nice swimming hole right out from the campsite.
The other property is on my pasture-based farm. It's a few miles from the Little Wolf. There is the "FarmStay" Camper, as well as a couple campsites nestled in the woods with a great views of the pastures, woods, and wetlands.
We've also recently added a pond that's able to be used by our guests to swim in!
There are 100+ acres that can explored on this 100% pasture-based beef operation. We're working on improving the trails. It's beautiful out there!

This farm is unique in that it was cleared and stripped of its topsoil and its fill was sold off to the state. What was left behind was a pond and some poor farmland. I purchased this less desirable property inexpensively and have been working tirelessly to regenerate the property to a farm that mimics nature and our natural ecosystem. I have planted over 1000 trees and perennial shrubs to move this property into an oak savannah-like natural farming system. This unique riverside retreat is located on the shores of the Plover River, on a dam remnant behind a former working mill. The wooded Boardwalk Trail opens to secluded grassy site ideal for tent or hammock camping. A stone fire pit is included.

We have a small herd of dairy cows, 50 dairy/meat goats, a horse named Willow and mule named Molly, a couple pigs or chickens in the summer, lots of cats. We specialize in goats for meat. Grazing girls roam 30 acres of pasture close to camping. Our goats are very friendly. We are currently not milking goats. We sell eggs and meat from our farm store.
We have a spring fed 3 acre pond to paddle around if the water level is high enough. Swimming not recommended. Primitive tent and camper sites available. We welcome horses, bring your own fence. Trails on farm for walking or riding and close to Hartman Creek State Park trails. Dogs are okay, but must be on a leash for the safety of our livestock. Our on site camper offers a bathroom, no shower. Gas generator to run electricity is included for lights and basic appliances. Bring your own water containers, available to fill at the farm. The Kettle Moraine Ice AgeTrail is just across the pond. The Glenbeulah Millpond offers fishing and kayaking and we provide free use of our kayak and row boat. Local suppliers usually have a bunch of firewood for the included firepit and we include a nice table and chairs for your picnics. Swimming is near by at Elkhart Lake and the mountain biking trails in the Kettle Moraine Forest are wonderful. There is WiFi. We have a dog that is overly friendly and will hang out near your camper. If you want to bring your pets we ask that you talk with us first to make sure they will all get along. We do not have a sewer connection for your black and grey water tanks but there is a dump station just 4 miles away. There are no toilet facilities on site.

It is very scenic, nestled in the Kettle Moraine Forest. Very peaceful and private property surrounded by trees. You can see the stars well at night and we often have deer on the property. Dogs are welcome.

What a cozy, snowy retreat at the G Farm. I was looking for picturesque solitude and I got it!
The tiny house was perfect for just me and my watercolor paints. The space heater kept me plenty warm even though it seems that we are actually having a proper winter this year in Wisconsin. Comfy, cozy, and very private.

I stayed at the RV site. Good size for about an 18 foot RV, more length may be pushing the space to its limit. There is water and power at this site. There is a remarkable (Best On HipCamp it seems) outhouse approx 100 yards from the site as well. Nice walking trail, and plenty of star gazing, moon gazing.
Owner has wood for sale on site.
Owner is also a super nice guy, and can accommodate pretty much anything you need.
There is another site more in the woods, primarily for tent (RTT) camping that the owner may advertise for rental later this year (2025). This site is more remote/private, very well maintained, large (approx 50 meters X 30 meters), and should easily fit 3 or 4 tents if your traveling in a group.
There is a remote possibility the owner may open a very primitive, solo tent camping location......... stay tuned.
All sites are accessible by auto/truck, but you could also park in the lot and just hike into the tent camping locations, or drop off your gear and park in the lot to save space at your site.
Overall a great three days / two nights staring at the fire and moon with my dog.

Above and beyond! That's how Brenda and her family role. They are the most genuinely kind and caring people. They truly treat you like family.
I took my 2 kiddos (ages 8 and 9) and our dog, for a fall camping adventure. The property is absolutely beautiful. Their are 3 campsites right on the river. We happened to be the only people there, so we had it to ourselves! But, would be a perfect spot if you have a larger group to book all 3 sites together.
Brenda and her family truly made us feel like family. We had a couple bumps in the road- it was my first time taking my kids camping by myself, but they made me feel like I had a safety net, in case anything happened. I felt completely safe and it put my mind at ease.
My daughter said if she could rate her stay, she'd give it "450 trillion out of 5 stars". My son said, the experience was, "one for the books"- meaning he had so much fun, he can't stop talking about it. :)
Aside from the top notch host, they offer things to do, like kayaking and fishing. They will even drive you to a place to start and you'll finish at your campsite. They have 2 docks right on the river, which offer gorgeous views of sunset and sunrise. Also, just to bask in the peacefulness surrounding you.
I could go on and on about how amazing our experience was... but you should check it out for yourself!
We can't wait to go again!! We're already planning our next adventure there!

We had such a wonderful time at Riverside Roost! The campsite right along the river is stunning and the fresh eggs, bread, & jam were delicious. If you are a big critter fan this is the spot for you! Lots of frogs, fish, turtles, crawdads, bugs, etc. as well as the chickens that wander around! Paddling along the water is a treat and the dam, albeit a little noisy, brought a nice cool air to the site. The campsite itself is nestled into the property and I think it’s a great site, though if you want more options for walking trails/exploring I’d utilize the plenty of parks and public sites in the area as well. We can’t wait to come back!

Nice, quiet stay! When we saw the ATV signs on the roads to the camp, we worried it would be loud, but it definitely wasn’t. Very cute and host was super nice. Pit toilet was immaculately clean.

We stayed on camp site one. Absolutely beautiful over looking the open fields where there were cows off in the pasture. The land was vast and extremely gorgeous. The site was nestied just in side the wooded area but the opening allow for sun light and star gazing. Rachel and her boys were so polite and accomidating. We were invited to the farm however did not make it over there. The sun flower feild was beautiful and we were able to pick as many as we wanted. The local towns offered plenty do with a lot of small town charm. Definitely would go back and camp here in the future.

Peaceful Getaway on Beautiful Green Lake 🌿
We loved our stay at this cozy cabin on Green Lake! The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The hosts thought of everything — from a welcoming coffee and snack basket to fire pits already prepped for us. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, walking the peaceful paths, and relaxing under the stars at night. The property is absolutely beautiful and well cared for. A wonderful mix of comfort and nature — we can’t wait to come back!

Fishing off the dock, kayaking the river, getting to meet some of Brenda and Josh's "pets" (a stud horse and the sweetest little goat!) whilst stoking a fire was the perfect weekend escape. Yes, the train horns do occur, but we thought they were funny!
Seeing a flock of 50 Sandhill Cranes all take off at once was a speechless moment along with watching changing leaves gently fall onto the river 🍂🛶.
Plenty of firewood and kindling on site as well as all the water and eggs you could chug!
Brenda was thoughtfully communicating throughout brooking process and a gracious host during our stay. We can't wait to come back with some friends!
Can't recommend enough for fellow camping sweethearts and nature-loving families. 👏🤗

we had an amazing time at Kelli’s campsite!! everything was so beautiful and well maintained. We got a wheelbarrow of wood which was perfect for us! We loved saying hi to the chickens. She was very kind and accommodating. Would love to come back soon!!

Great location with a very thoughtful host! Wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the lake. The site is spacious and easy to get into. There are other folks and homes nearby, but there is plenty of privacy.

Weekend Trip to The G Farm
I loved camping here. It is a very safe and private camping experience with cozy accommodations and a beautiful view. The golden hour over the pond was spectacular. I took many naps and enjoyed my solitude.
