4 nights at The Falls at Sewanee Creek
Grant and his wife were wonderful hosts and offer several amenities that my girlfriend and I both said we’ll be back to enjoy someday. The glamp tent setup is truly breathtaking a great in between roughing it and glamorous camping. Grant took the time to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. For people thinking about this trip, I would say be sure to bring some steaks and charcoal to put on the rocket grill! It’s a really cool piece and cooks a steak to perfection. Other than that, flashlights are a plus as it gets dark early in the winter and there isn’t much lighting outside of the tent. Don’t forget to bring something fun to do around the campfire too since there’s a really cool
Rock pit a couple steps outside the tent. S’mores, music, campfire songs, and games. You’ll want to find ways to be outside the tent if you’re like us. Speaking of, there are so many cool things to do outside of the camp! Grant gave us several awesome destinations to visit before we left and we got to each of them! All exceeded our expectations. From food, to sites, to sounds! I’d encourage everyone to explore Tracy city, Monteagle, and even Nashville is only an hour and a half away!

The cabin exceeded all expectations! Waking up to see it snowing around the pond was magical, the icing on the cake of a perfect weekend. What a special place 😍

I loved the property and the peace and the people were wonderful too!!!! The only downside is, if you are tent camping during the winter there is no outside water source or no shower because the water is off during the winter outside.

Loved the stay here, the view was awesome and it was quiet. My dog loved running around. Firewood was enough to last two full days and there’s were three spots, one closeksh to the house, one midway, and one at the top of the hill near the outhouse. The drive in was easy and stores are within a 10-15 minute drive and no traffic!

Great option for those who want an unassisted or supplied camping trip. Barn with cooking materials and games was an awesome resource. I went alone with my dog to test out my new converted van. Amazing option. I also had to reschedule due to some travel issues and host was very accommodating.

We couldn’t have asked for a better overlanding experience! Chris was incredibly communicative, helpful and welcoming throughout booking and the stay itself. The property was well marked, clean, peaceful and we will ABSOLUTELY be back. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a bit of serenity amongst the trees.

This is our second Thanksgiving spent at the caboose. It was a great experience both last time and this time. Having firewood at our disposal is great; our dog loved to run up and down the hill; the house is on a busy road, but it never bothered us at all. Can't wait to stay next Thanksgiving. Thanks, Mark!

3 nights at Your Toccoa River Cove!
Lots of space to move around and the pergola cover offered a lot of shelter from the wind and had all the camping amenities we could need. George even brought up a kerosene space heater for us!

45 ft toy hauler

For site number 3 (the one my wife and I stayed at) it was an easy back in to get our 45 toy hauler into the site. Sites 1 and 2 may have presented a challenge for our size rig but they are very spacious. All of the sites that is. Entry and exit of the park was easy and straight forward. We loved the close proximity to family in the area especially for our Thanksgiving stay.
There was one limb that was touching the back corner of our roof and with a simple call to William, the issue was resolved quickly with a quick cut from his pole saw.
We definitely plan to return to Deer Valley RV in the future.

Weekend Trip to The Falls at Sewanee Creek
My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights on grants trampoline tent and it was such a different but beautiful experience, the tent area was very nicely set up, being able to hear the creek while going to sleep or just sitting by the fire was also very relaxing. Only downside was that it was extremely cold, I would highly recommend bringing an air mattress, sleeping bags, and lots of blankets to keep you warm. We went November 28th-30th. Grant and his wife were also out of town but they were still very helpful and sweet, they explained everything we needed to know about the area and gave us some trails to check out. Everything was beautiful and I highly recommend staying.

Another great trip to the Cove! For anyone who comes right after us, we set up your first fire logs in the firepit. We brought our own firewood but you’ll find enough logs in the wood crib to do about two fires, plus the giant stumps that are great to prolong the fire if you can get one going. George also has a bale of pine straw in there which is super helpful to get a fire started. My whole review is about fires, can you tell it was cold while we were there haha! Saw several deer and hawks. Lots of stars and quiet.

This was our third time camping here, and it was another amazing experience! It's peaceful but close enough to restaurants and stores. The site is fairly level, the internet is fast, and everything works as expected. We plan to be back! Our dogs love it too!

We enjoyed our stay at Deer Valley. The sites are well maintained and offer all of the amenities a camper would need. They also have firewood on-site for purchase at a fair price. We appreciated the convenient location being near to grocery stores and restaurants. We will stay again next time we're in the area.
