The sites are well maintained, the bathhouse luxurious, and the tent pad was nice and level…though make sure to clear off these pinecones. This off the beaten path stay was amazing! It was so beautiful and quiet. The hosts were super sweet, as is their dog. Just follow the instructions on how to get to the site and you will be just fine. there is a pond and a little walk path. I would highly recommend this. Would definitely stay again.

What a great site! We prefer to boondock and this site fit the bill. It had the added bonus of a low wood deck which worked well with our truck tarp. The road in was just as advertised by the hosts, a little rough, but no worse than a lot of the National Forest roads we camped on as we made our way through the Black Hills. Very convenient for sightseeing in and around Deadwood and Lead.

Open Green Space, babbling Creeks, Wildlife, Views, Solitude, yet only a few minutes from the I-90 and Rapid City

We absolutely loved our stay! We tent camped with two pups and we all enjoyed our time! The scenery was beautiful and the people were so incredibly welcoming! The food at the bar and grill was delicious with such a fun atmosphere! We stayed karaoke night and had such a fun time! We will absolutely be coming to stay here again!

Camp spot was beautiful, good views, easy access got a nice spot on the split to the left felt like we could of got a better spot lacked a bit in communication from host but not the biggest deal really happy with our choice would definitely recommend to others !

Fantastic campsite, far from any other people with a good view of the forest. Easy driving distance to Custer state park and many good hiking spots. We saw lots of wildlife on the area as well. I’ll definitely camp here again

This is THE SPOT when wanting to see the sites in the area! It’s close to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and more plus we even drove to Devils Tower! The best part is Black Hills is just past the fence line for some morning or evening hikes. Totally recommend.

We reached out to the camp host to see if they’d let us check in earlier and so thankful that they did. It allowed us to have enough time to drive down and explore the Badlands since we only had one day of fun. It’s about an hour away from here. We also got to see a famous roadside attraction Wall Drugs.
