The tiny home was great! Enough space for 2 with an amazing view. A great option away from the busy side of the island with plenty of beaches, hiking, and other activities nearby. There was even a very friendly cat that would hang out on the porch with us while we ate our dinners. Would definitely stay again!

Great spot. No complaints. Kristian was a welcoming and engaging farm manager. Although we visited during the rainy season, the camp was well equipped to handle it. We did our best to leave everything better than we found it. Would happily stay again.

Sun Farm is a gem, away from the crowds, cozy yurt, nice kitchen, hot shower, clean, exactly what we needed. We knew about the hens and it was quite an orchestra overnight but we had earplugs and it was fine. There were mosquitoes but none inside our yurt. It was a great middle point between sunrise and sunset. We would definitely come back. Thank you for sharing this piece of Paradise with us!

Wow what a beautiful and special place! It was such a treat to spend my birthday weekend here. Kristian and all the animals were so welcoming when I arrived. I stayed in the yurt which was so luxurious. I loved showering under the moonlight amidst the banana trees. And it was so lovely to chat with other campers around the fire pit. I loved all the native flora. It was pure delight to wander through. There is so much care, intention and beauty. Grateful for the rest, rejuvenation and celebration. And I loved having the singing bowl to play with!

Weekend Trip to The Beach

Our family loved camping at David’s site! Directions were clear and we were able to park right next to the tent so there was no struggle to unload or repack your gear. The site was quiet and peaceful since we were the only ones renting for the 2 nights we stayed. The flush toilet, sink, kitchen sink station and hot shower were so convenient. David was a kind and thoughtful host offering his filtered water since we forgot to pack our own (he also has potable water at the site) and a charcoal grill so we could roast s’mores while we watched airplanes in the distance and fireworks on Friday night. We played soccer during the day in the grassy area of the site and caught crabs at the beach right in front of the campsite at night. The beach isn’t much much for little ones to swim in but we just drove 3 minutes down the road to Pu’uloa Beach park where there was small beginner surf, boogie boarding and swimming. My 6 year old said “I give this place 5 stars!” We all had a blast. Thank you David for accommodating our last minute staycation away from crowds and the bustle of Black Friday! A hui hou!

My favorite spot on Oahu, I will be back. It's not as level as I would like, but it has a good nearby bathroom and shower, a good view, and relatively peaceful. Bring earplugs, the wind turbines can be loud, here and more so in the bamboo sites.

I never got bored living here. Every day I got to wake up and go to the beach just minutes away from home, or my cousins and I would have a fishing contest to see who could catch the most fish. Welcome to Hau'ula Homestead! We are located on O‘ahu, the beautiful Hawaiian Island. Right across the road from Hau'ula Beach park and a short drive from famous North Shore beaches. Flat grass field with some trees and bordered by a stream. We have two RV/tent campsites available. If you are bringing an RV, we can accommodate vehicles up to 45ft in length. No hookups are available at this time, the sites are flat. Campfires not permitted. We are pet-friendly, but please keep your pets on leash. A toilet, potable water, and wifi are all available. Kokololio Beach Park is a 2-minute drive from the site. Hau'ula Loop Trail is only 4 minutes away. Kokololio Beach is a nice stretch of sand and during the summer months, swimming is possible. When coming from the south, turn left toward the mountain immediately before the long Hauula Beach park bridge or when coming from the north turn right immediately toward the mountain just after the long park bridge into my dirt driveway. You will have the small river on your righthand side as you drive in.
