Welcome to Our Glamping Property 🌴 Welcome to our family-run glamping property! Located on 0.6 acres with 8 units, our property offers a shared, peaceful outdoor environment where guests can slow down, disconnect, and enjoy the beauty of Hawaiʻi. The property is completely off-grid, and as a small family-run operation, we do our best to continually maintain, improve, and update the property for our guests. Our simple “summer camp” style tiny cabin is designed to create a distraction-free space to reconnect with nature and make lasting memories. The cabin is cozy and intentionally simple, giving you a comfortable place to rest after a day of exploring the island. One of the highlights of the property is the incredible stargazing. On clear nights, step outside, look up, and enjoy the stars away from the distractions of everyday life. And when you're ready for some beach time, the beach is just a half-mile away! Because the property is shared with other guests, you'll also have the opportunity to swap stories around the fire, meet fellow travelers from around the world, and enjoy the feeling of being part of a little community in the wild. 🐈 Meet Patches: One of the unexpected highlights of staying here is Patches, our friendly resident cat who has made the property her home. She loves meeting guests and may stop by to say hello—or even invite herself into your cabin! Many of our guests love her visits. If you'd rather keep her outside, simply keep your door closed or gently shoo her back out. Come slow down, unplug, and enjoy a different side of Hawaiʻi.What to Expect ⛺️ Tiny Cabin: The cabin includes two comfortable Twin XL memory-foam beds, with space above the beds to store luggage. String lights are hung both inside and outside the cabin, creating a cozy atmosphere at night. You'll also have portable fans, towels, camping cookware, and a cooler for your stay. Outside, enjoy your own picnic area for relaxing after the day's adventures, with parking directly next to the cabin. 🐈 Meet Patches: One of the unexpected highlights of staying here is Patches, our friendly resident cat who has made the property her home. If you'd rather keep her outside, simply keep your door closed or gently shoo her back out. 🦎 Geckos & Tropical Insects: Friendly little geckos are a common part of Hawaiian life and you may see them on the walls or ceilings. They're harmless and help keep insects under control. Because you're staying in a tropical outdoor environment, you may also encounter mosquitoes, ants, moths, and other small insects from time to time. 🌦️ Check the Weather: We recommend checking the weather forecast before your stay so you can come prepared for changing tropical conditions. Hawaii's rainy season is generally October through March, although rain can occur throughout the year. We also recommend bringing any personal bug repellent you may prefer. 🚜 Please note that our property is located on rural farm roads, which are a mix of dirt and gravel. During dry conditions, these roads are generally easy to navigate with a standard vehicle. However, when it rains, the roads can become muddy, slippery, and more challenging to drive. In wet weather, a 4WD/4x4 vehicle may be necessary for safe access. We strongly recommend keeping an eye on the weather forecast, especially during Hawaiʻi’s rainy season (typically November through March). A 4x4 is not required during dry conditions, but guests should use their own discretion based on weather and driving comfort.
