This property is called relic ranch because we have actually found a ton of old relics. the campground is under an ancient canopy of oaks. so youll always have shade. the center of the property is unique to say the least but the campground is nature at its finest. there is a 2.6 mile nature trail across from the campground to explore. also there is a boat ramp for fishing about 1/8 mile away. you are welcome to roam over most of the 80 acres. We have goats, cows and chickens as well. All super friendly.

First site is a 12x32 concrete slab with city water and a 30-amp camper electric service. The second site (near the rear of the property and along a busy road that can be noisy) is a 10x14 concrete slab with city water and a household electric service of about 13 amps. No sewage facilities for both sites, must have black water holding tanks. I recommend stopping at a truck stop and empty the black water holding tank. Located on an acre with Grissom Pkwy in the back. Very near the restaurant "Jabbers". Great views of rocket launches, just a few miles from Publix, other shops and other restaurants. About a mile to the Indian River, about five miles to the Banana River (and Kelly Park for windsurfing or launching boats) about 12 miles to Port Canaveral and the beach at Jetty Park or better yet (my fav) Cherie Down Park. CDP is great for surfing, beach fishing, viewing rocket launches or just beach walking. While there please visit Port Canaveral's host of bars and restaurants. Also, about 25 miles to the Space Center. PLEASE! Best way onto property is go west on Canaveral Groves Blvd 1/2 mi. to Alan Sheppard, left and left again at 1st. street (Atlanta St.). Back the 1/2 mi. to Knoxville Ave where the trailer/camper entrance lines up directly with Atlanta St. GPS does NOT know if you are pulling a camper/trailer...LOL!

Mount Dora is across the main street less than 5 minutes away. Our antique town is an amazing experience to explore with lots of history and complete with quaint shops and restaurants, boating and lots of things to do. Rennigers Antique Center is located right up the street (less than 5 minutes away) for some great picking. We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm. We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee. Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on. In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us. Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property. Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be. Sam's place near Cocoa was the perfect base for exploring both Cocoa Beach and Titusville. While I was there I was able to catch a Starlink launch from the Titusville Space View Park. I also went the other direction and caught the Sands Space Force museum and Ron Jon's in Cocoa Beach. If you're heading to the area Sam's place is a great place to stay. But beware that it's not for the big rigs. I'm a 21ft travel trailer. I stayed on the driveway spot. And I felt like I was taking up the whole thing. I loved that my door was away from the house. I felt like I was in my own place, even though I was steps from the house. Steve is a great host. He left me alone all week, but I felt like I could call on him for anything while I was there. And as a long time resident of the area he knows where everything is that you'll need.

This was a fantastic host. He likes to be out to greet everybody that pulls on to his property. While I was unhooking, I was having some issues because of the little bit of slope going up onto the pad. The pad was very level, I do want to say that. But there's a slope between the hitch and my camper tongue. Sam made sure that I had everything I needed. He found me a breaker bar so I can get the bars off and get everything leveled. Great communications. I felt secure and safe. Very friendly man. Really enjoyed his property. Five star owner.

Cute farm for a family getaway. Only 3 campsites make it very private for your party, and the animals will walk up to the fence for you to pet them.

Space wasn’t an issue. The red table and fire pit are at the side already .

Weekend Trip to North Shore Relic Ranch

Great getaway! If you love nature and animal sounds and sightings this is the place for you. Host was excellent went above and beyond set up was spacious and private even though the camp was full, privacy still wasn’t a concern. Would highly recommend we will be back with our boat next time.

Weekend Trip to Camp Wild Fern

Hosts were excellent and very responsive! The site was huge and very lush with the surrounding trees. Loved the visiting chickens and the calling owls. There was an excellent bike trail just a couple of miles from here which made it perfect for a full day of biking. And then also the close proximity to New Smyrna made an excellent second day. Definitely recommend.
