Description

Just a few miles off 395, this campground offers two RV pads and five campsites at the confluence of Desolation Creek and the North Fork John Day River. Photography, river activities, and hunting are popular in the area, and the campsite has an interpretive geology sign in case you’re wondering what kind of rocks you’re using to weigh down your picnic blanket. Open seasonally.
