Rock Crick Acres is a little slice of Oregon heaven. The location is lovely —tucked into a quiet, green stretch of land that feels remote while still being easy to find. The creative touches, trees, babbling creek, and open skies made for the perfect retreat.
Our host was warm, responsive, and helpful—offering clear directions and thoughtful communication along the way. You can tell they genuinely care about creating a great experience for campers.
When we first arrived, the dogs barked to let us know they were on duty and we had our concerns that it was going to impact the stay but they quieted down once they got used to us and our dog and weren't much of an issue at all for the rest of our stay.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unplug and soak in the natural beauty of Oregon. Would absolutely come back!

Rock Crick Acres was a wonderful place to stay. It was extra special as we had the whole place to ourselves. The fire ring is perfect and I would highly suggest buying the firewood as it makes it very convenient. The creek is beautiful! We did the hike that the host suggested - it is just down the road from camp and it was an awesome hike on logging roads with beautiful views.

This is definitely a hidden gem! We loved our stay as it provided the quiet get -away we needed. The grounds are nicely kept and the view and sound of the creek is so relaxing. Scott was great to work with and quick to answer our questions. We are already planning our next trip. This was a wonderful place to stay.

This is definitely a hidden gem! Our family enjoyed the quiet surroundings and beautiful creek view. The property is well kept and offers the privacy we wanted. It is only a short drive to the beach and has a nice restaurant within a short drive. Scott was great to work with and quick to respond to questions. We are already planning our next trip.

Other than the neighbor's dogs which is fully disclosed by host, the experience was wonderful. Scott is a great host. Super friendly. Location easy to get to and level parking. ATT reception excellent, was able to stream live TV. Rock creek is beautiful. Very safe to leave camper unattended. Highly recommend if in the area.

Beautiful spot...eclectic, spacious, perfect spot for a group. The dogs next door barked to say, but quieted down and don't bother us. The host, Scott, was welcoming and gracious. We plan to go back and will take him treats next time.

Camping here was so relaxing. The river access is perfect. Great quiet location not far from hwy 22. Next time I stay here I need to check out all the hiking trails around.

A beautiful space to camp right on the river. My stay was very private as there were no other campers at the time. Host allowed me to check in early and check out late and was very responsive. My dog and cat loved exploring the river/site and the only downside were the neighbor's dogs as they seemed amped up with my pets in their sight. Host was up front about that in the listing, so I wasn't surprised. Overall, my one night was great and would come back again.

Rock Crick Acres: Tent Hideout
Lots of space to spread-out and pitch your tent! This is a great spot for camping with your family and friends, especially if you have young children because the water is clean and fresh with a nice tranquil flow. Our children all had a great time watching the chipmunks scurry through the trees, wading and splashing around in the creek, catching crawdads, and swimming with the small fish and frogs that fill this beautiful riparian landscape. The adults all enjoyed having a private bathroom, and a great place to sit around the campfire at night! Best of all, no mosquitoes!

Very nice and relaxing atmosphere, not too much wind, and the fire pit was adequate for all of our grilling needs. Also, there is a small store nearby for last minute items, drinks, snacks, and best of all- ICE! 😃🤙

Scott was great at communicating and the location was good. Quiet spot and pretty little creek. We weren’t able to take advantage of the fire pit but what a great spot to gather. We did expect the pit toilet to be available but it wasn’t a problem. Also it was a little hard to find in the dark so we’d recommend arriving before dark.

Rock crick was ok, it was as expected. BUT… overpriced for what ya get. As mentioned in another review. It feels like you’re in someone’s backyard. Not very private. The other day,per was only about 30 ft away. It was quiet except for a few cocka doodles from the rooster next door and a few dog barks. Yes the creek sound is nice . Should be about $25 / night at most.

Scott’s property is so beautiful and falling asleep to the sound of the creek was just perfect! Getting to the creek is very easy and accessible but for older folks it may be good to use a walking stick or some kind to stabilize on the ramp. It was really lovely playing in the creek and then relaxing in the covered patio provided. Highly recommend to others and hope to go back!

Pretty cool spot! Toilet was a good touch and the firewood was very easy to burn. Host was nice and accommodating. However you will be situated between two houses so it kinda feels like you’re just camping in someone’s backyard. If you want to be in the river all day with a nice comfy lawn to put your tent at this is your spot. However like I said it’s not really camping.

This was a terrific campsite, very well maintained and clean. I stayed here because I was working in the area and the creek behind the campground was nice to listen to at night for a peaceful night sleep. I highly recommend staying here

What an amazing site! When ever I imagined my happy place, I always struggled with what exactly the environment would be. Now I know, and it's Scott's property. My nephew and I spent all day in the swimming hole looking at crawdads, fish, snails and even native plecostomus!!! I am absolutely coming back, in fact I'd much rather stay there then any rental property in Lincoln City. Thank you for a wonderful end to our road trip!!!

Scott’s property is absolutely magical. The creek is gorgeous and it’s so peaceful to go to sleep and wake up to its sounds. Scott has a bunch of cool art and antique pieces around the land which is fun to explore. I also did some yoga on the tent platform in the morning which was so perfect. I hope to come back and camp again there someday.
