Come visit a working cattle and hay ranch. 350 acres with a beautiful creek that runs right down the middle. Pet the cows, horses, some mini donkeys and even the alpacas if you are patient enough! Enjoy watching wildlife and farm animals. Camp at the edge of the hay fields, along the creek, in a bunkhouse or in a huge old barn. Please contact host directly if you would like to bring horses, we have a few options there. We have multiple sites available. The bunkhouse and barn will each hold a family or two. The sites in the hay fields or along the creek is suitable for you to bring larger groups and multiple tents or trailers. There are fresh eggs, beef and firewood available from the host. Nearby is a reservoir to fish, kayak or paddleboard or swim. Also short driving distance away are fishing ponds and hiking trails.

Pitch your tent at the edge of the creek. Admire the deer that graze the hayfields, pheasants, chukars, occasional elk and antelope. Stargaze like you never have before in an area with no light pollution! This is a working cattle and hay ranch, you will likely see people on tractors and hear equipment during daytime hours, but this site is 10 acres away from the main ranch house, so quite private. Camp fires are allowed in fire ring unless burn an is in effect. Portable toilet with tent onsite. No electricity available. Water available out of the creek, or you can come to the main house and get potable water from a faucet. Generators are welcome.

Pitch your tent or park your camper at the edge of our hayfields, right along the creek. Access to the creek is through a gate in the fence. Admire the deer that graze the hayfields, pheasants, chukars, occasional elk and antelope. Stargaze like you never have before in an area with no light pollution! You can sit in the shade, run through the grass, play in the creek. RVs are allowed. There is a tight turn to get into the driveway to the field and it is a slightly rough driveway to get down to area, then across a grass hayfield to get to your spot. If you cannot access the spot this way, we can work open some gates and help you get through a different way, if someone is home when you arrive. While rougher to get to, this is my preferred spot between the two outdoor spots. It is cooler, has grass instead of dirt and is more secluded. This is a working cattle and hay ranch, you will likely see people on tractors and hear equipment during daytime hours, but this site is 20 acres away from the main ranch house, so very private. Camp fires are allowed in fire ring unless burn ban is in effect. Portable toilet with tent onsite. No electricity available. Water available out of the creek, or from a hose off a well that's near this spot. Generators are welcome. This site can be rented for just a single family, or you can bring more of your own people and more tents/trailers to this site. It will not be rented out to different parties, so you will have your own space. Other sites that would be rented to different parties are not near this site.

Bunkhouse Site

What a wonderful recharge?! The peaceful sound of the sprinklers, rustling leaves of the trees and the occasional cow gave us just what we needed. The scenery was beautiful between two hillsides; the sunset pictures in the ad are not make believe! The bunkhouse was clean and rustic, just enough shelter to feel like we were camping under the stars, without the morning dew settling in on your sleeping bag. The parking was user friendly, the family and pets were great. We will be back to take in more of the rustic ranch life at Rhae Creek on our next recharge stop. Thank you Diane!

Was a great experience truly the host Diane was awesome. Always asking if I needed anything and making sure I was comfortable the whole stay! Beautiful property I appreciated having the time while I was on it. Definitely would recommend!
