Enchanted Forest
Best part was the creek we could go canoing. Just an open field. The grass was a foot tall everywhere. Great for streaking tents and padding underneath. Downside was I love harvesting my own deadwood. This wasn't really the place to cut down some dead trees and chop em up. Lots of room. I'm sure the owner could've pointed me to some trees to cut lol but the name should be field of dreams, not enchanted forest. Very nice owner.

Off grid camping
Sometimes when you read the overview of properties and think it’s exaggerated - can’t be so…no way not so with Michael’s. The enchanted forest was what I was looking for so I stayed xtra night, just so peaceful, views & quiet creek, birds chirping, whistling of the train and roosters in the distance. the perfect place for wandering souls or for a family getaway - you won’t be disappointed. I felt welcomed and informed and yes the overview of the Enchanted Forest is spot on!! I wonder how long does it take to explore 500 acres?

Enchanted Forest
Nice spot to escape everyday life and explore. The hosts were great to deal with, very accommodating and helpful. This location is very rural yet close enough to the town of Smiths Falls, so come prepared to rough it but know that if you do forget anything it's just a short drive away. Expect plenty of wildlife and a private good old fashion camping experience. The kids loved the trek down to the creek and all that it had to offer.
