***Note: please read the navigational site descriptions at the bottom of this page to ensure a particular site is right for your set up!***

Situated only an hour from Boston off of I 93, and less than 30 miles away from the famous Lake Winnipesaukee, we are perched on a picturesque dirt road in the beautiful country town of Canterbury New Hampshire.

Whether you are up for adventurous hikes on our spacious 100+ acre property, want to explore an active beaver wetland, listen to the frogs from the banks of our small pond, visit nearby attractions, or are just looking to get away from it all--we’ve got you covered!

We have easy-to-access rustic style camping accommodations for all sized parties traveling with tents, travel trailers and recreational vehicles. We even welcome horse campers, and have many decent riding trails in the area (horse campers need to contact us prior to reserving!).

All of our sites offer privacy, parking, fire pits, family sized tables with benches and restroom facilities situated conveniently nearby. You can request to be in a densely wooded site, perched next to the brook, or nestled on the tree line of our expansive meadow (talk about views!).

Popular attractions within a stone’s throw from us include; a gorgeous walk back in time at Canterbury’s Shaker Village, Golfing at Canterbury Woods, a unique pint of ale at Canterbury Aleworks, fabulous pick-your-own fruits and vegetables at Hackleboro Orchard, OR if you find yourself running low on supplies, Canterbury Country Store boasts having at least one of everything and is situated only one mile away from your campsite!

If you need more city life amenities like grocery stores or restaurants, the capitol city of Concord to the south, and the town of Tilton to the north, are a breeze to access and are less than 20 minutes away.

Direct bookings and advanced reservations are no problem, and we also try to accommodate last minute bookings whenever we can. No contact check in/out makes it convenient, but we are always available for questions, information, and extra supplies for purchase such as fire wood, drinking water, bug spray and more.

UPON ARRIVAL at the Red Entrance Gate (see map emailed to you), proceed to the Welcome Center just ahead on the left. Stop there and pick up your site pack. It will be clearly marked with your name and will indicate directions to your assigned site. We’ll come around to say hello in person after you get settled.

Contact information is located in the Welcome Center and on our brochure.  To get in touch with us prior to coming, use Hipcamp messaging--we will respond quickly.

                                                           ~~~~~~~~~~~
Our farm and beautiful surroundings put you smack in the middle of nature. We love it that way and our family has been doing our level best to preserve it for the last 60 years. We ask our campers to help us do the same.
So, we respectfully require the following:
  • refrain from using soaps in or near our natural water sources
  • no hunting or harming of animals
  • carry out your own refuse (dumpster provided)
  • refrain from any activities that could detract from nature, or interfere with the enjoyment of other campers
  • feel free to roam at leisure on our property, but please do not enter areas near our home or barns (except for emergency)
  • honor strict local noise ordinance; quiet after 10pm and before 8am.
  • we have horses on the property, please honor their space by respecting fencing and gates, and above all, refrain from giving them treats…even if they beg
Horse Campers:
  • bring your own temporary fencing
  • cart manure away from camp sites
  • must have proof of up-to date vaccines
  • must reserve use of ring in advance
  • must sign waiver (emailed upon reservation)
By reserving, you agree to adhere to these common-sense requirements. Failure to do so can result in immediate cancellation without refund.
Sorry, we do not offer hook-ups, electricity, or showers. Also, please be aware that cellular service in our area is extremely limited, so plan accordingly.
SITE DESCRIPTIONS
Wooded sites:
1. The Summit--tents only and no in-site parking. There is a fairly steep path into this site due to it's height on the top of a small wooded ridge. Parking is about 50 feet away.
2. Royal Oak--Tent site, or small camper site for a skilled driver. There are trees that have to be navigated to get a camper into this site. In-site parking. Easily navigable for car.
3. Winterbrook--tents only and in-site parking only for more rugged vehicles, otherwise parking is about 50 feet away.
4. (premire site, separate listing) A tent or van/truck camper site only. Spacious In-site parking. Not a good one for towed campers.
5. A large tent, camper, or RV site with area for turning and maneuvering.
11. Pineview--tent, camper or RV site. Maneuvering is delicate due to all the tall pines, but not an issue for skilled tow drivers. Vehicles not towing--no issue at all.
12. Pine Nook--tent, camper or RV site. Maneuvering is delicate due to all the tall pines, but not an issue for skilled tow drivers. Vehicles not towing--no issue at all.
Meadow sites:
6. Hills Corner--easily accessed for tent or towed camper. Plenty of space to maneuver. Ample in-site parking.
7. (premiere site separate listing) Hilltop--a tent site only. Ample in-site parking.
8. The Glade--large tent site with ample parking. There is a fairly steep incline to get into the site, but most vehicles have no trouble. It's large enough for a camper, but the incline makes it a challenge we don't advise.
9. (premiere site separate listing) Brookside--Tents, campers and Rvs can easily access this site. Ample uninhibited space for maneuvering.
10. Brookbend--tents, campers and Rvs can easily access this site. Ample, uninhibited space for maneuvering.
LeeAnn was a great host. She provided us with potable water and delivered firewood for purchase. The site was clean and the grounds were so beautiful. We can’t wait to stay there again next season!
Pitch Perfect is a perfect place to camp! The sites are ample sized and spaced out appropriately from other campers but not so far that you feel totally isolated. We stayed in site #5 and it was wonderful. There was perfect spots to place our tents and the site was close enough (but not too close) to the Sani-cans.
The location is beautiful and LeeAnn is a wonderful host. We loved that she checked in with us daily without being intrusive and we could order wood and she would deliver to us!
Great site! Secluded and quiet. The sites are plenty spread out. So, good for privacy. LeeAnn was very nice. We stopped by the Canterbury Aleworks and grabbed a couple growlers and relaxed by the fire. Great beer, great site and great experience. Will definitely be back!
We visited Pitch Perfect in October 2021 and stayed at Site 11 for two nights. There were six of us in total; four adults and two three year olds. Site 11 is open and spacious and adjacent to the main dirt road that goes back to the other sites. The site, and the larger campground, felt like a little slice of heaven--well groomed and maintained with the sound of a babbling brook in the background. I could go on... but, in summary, we all highly recommend Pitch Perfect and plan to be back in 2022. Thank you LeeAnn.
We had a beautiful spot by the babbling brook in our 25 ft RV. LeeAnn provided lots of thoughtful touches including a welcome bag, potable water, and a nearby toilet. This was our first time utilizing HipCamp and we are now converts.
Response from LeeAnn, the Host, on October 10th, 2021
