Overview

About

When you come to this national monument, you're actually visiting someone's home. The Navajo people still live in this canyon, it's of the longest continuously inhabited landscapes in the country.

Keep an eye open for the artisans selling jewelry, musical instruments and pottery—You'll find some amazingly beautiful mementos.

Camping is available, courtesy of the Navajo Nation. No reservations—Campsites are first-come, first-served, with no hookups available. But you'll feel as if you're in your own private Grand Canyon.
