Heather was very accommodating. Great people. I would definitely recommend this if you’re interested in hiking Acadia or any other surrounding areas, it was only 20 minutes from great hiking. And the sunrise/sunsets were amazing. Very secure, private camping. Thanks for the memories
We had an absolutely amazing stay at Camping With Wolves. Heather, BJ and John could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We originally booked a tent site, but upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to discover there was also a beautiful and unique loft for rent. It was fantastic…cute, clean, comfortable and dry. The views inside the preserve were stunning, and we loved listening to the wolves howling at the moon. We looked forward to returning “home” each night after a long day’s hike in Acadia NP, which was only about a 20 minutes drive. I would definitely recommend staying here, and hope to be back again in the future.
We love staying here! This is our second year here, and will be coming back in future years. Only negative is the lack of potable water, but it is easy to plan around that. The fire pits are great & the place is very clean and well kept.
Heather and BJ are great! My fiancé and I really felt at home. I’d recommend taking the tour, the animals are amazing!
Great check-in experience when we arrived a little later, the campsites have everything you need and it’s only a 15-minute drive into Acadia. Would certainly stay here again!
