    Enjoy our 1825 Maine homestead; large back yard with woods, privacy too. Large river; hiking trail nearby, ocean beach about 3 miles away, attractive fishing village 5 miles away Pitch a tent in the yard or back woods, inside bath available 24/7. Rustic camping. This is our backyard and no real assigned camping spots. We can accommodate Rv’s and campers in the front driveway, as well. Can be noisy due to being right on the roadway. But this is right on the road, so Not suggested. Bicycle 3 miles to a sand beach, or half mile to the st. George river and; historic fort. Hiking trails, picturesque fishing villages nearby. Great backyard camping experience with picnic area and fire pit for use. Must have lights. We are not a campground. Please arrive before dark to set up. Great location for touring the area and attractions Please be sure to let us know your estimated arrival time the day you are arriving. This is our home and we must be home to show you around and let you in the bathroom, etc.

No lights in the yard, bring your lights. We have plenty of room under trees, or away from the road and house or in the woods. Its a great location. Near many local attractions, trails, beaches, lighthouses, etc. But no vehicles allowed on site only in parking area and no lights in the backyard. Mowed and maintained yard. Has an electric fence surrounding the garden, which you should avoid. There is a picnic table, chairs, benches and a fire pit with wood for your use. Outdoor shower as well as indoor restroom. Follow instructions or ask to use outdoor shower if unsure. Parking is limited, so pull close to other vehicles to assure everyone has a spot. Do Not back out into the street. Very busy fast roadway. No nearby neighbors, surrounded by brush/woods. Hilly and rocky yard but an enjoyable, peaceful spot for camping. House rules: 1. Be cautious of front door, it sticks and glass is fragile. Do not bang or swing shut. Close gently. 2. Wipe your feet before entering. This is our home and we use this restroom, as well. 3. Do not pee in the yard. Been a dry summer and our grass is drying up. 4. Prop the bathroom door open upon leaving, so we know it is empty 5. No Pets or Smoking anywhere on property or in your vehicle. 6. One tent/one vehicle per site reservation. 7. Extra large vehicles or trailers Must be preapproved. Maybe placed down the road to park for the night

    We loved camping on Brenda’s land! She has a beautiful yard that feels very comfortable and inviting. Brenda was very friendly and greeted us upon our arrival. The bathroom for use is right in through one of the doors and was clean and inviting as well. Highly recommend camping here!

    A beautiful, spacious, though mostly sloping area for camping with scattered level spots. The host advertises bathroom access, but I found the door locked at the time of my early departure.

    Brenda was a warm and friendly host who made us feel very welcome camping at her lovely place. Our only regret is that we had only one night that we could stay there since we were on a schedule!

    I was made very welcome and felt safe camping there in my tent which I put up in their beautiful green area with lovely gardens. Washroom and shower available. I very much enjoyed the short distance to St George for food and supplies as well as only about a 25min drive to the Monhegan island ferry.
