This Loca slept like a baby!! 🐺
My husband and I went with our cat! Dale was super kind, we had a really great time there. There's wood on site for fires, pricey but readily available and I think occasionally Dale will deliver it. I also overheard some female campers explaining that it was their first time camping and barely spoke English, but then Dale went and helped teach them how to make a fire and offered all kinds of help and loaned equipment. I thought that that was really freaking sweet and a lot of camp hosts wouldn't take their time to do that.
The biggest downsides were that the tent sites are pretty close to the road, and the road does get quite a bit of traffic during the day. The other one is that the outdoor shower was not working, and the only other shower is in the room with the only flushing toilet, so you had to be a bit choosy when you could use the flushing toilet or the shower. Shower. Also, there's a 5-minute rule for the shower.
Otherwise it was a great time. It is smack dab between the beaches of La pouche and the town of Forks. Things were easy to get to. The camp was convenient and great and clean and I felt safe. Also, the beaches here were empty in the middle of summer. It was amazing and it was beautiful and I loved the weather changes! Side bonus that there is some random Twilight memorabilia, but also some cool blues memorabilia. Absolutely! Would come here again. Can't wait to see what they build next!
