Ridge top getaway

Beautiful spot up on the mountain ridge. Very convenient location to Causey Reservoir. Hosts were very gracious and hospitable. Just a heads up if you’re riding solo, you’ll will need a capable vehicle and some courage to park at the site. Great getaway to escape the smoggy city!

Up on the ridge

It was a very nice place to spend a couple of nights. It is about 15 minutes from Causey Reservoir and 35 minutes from Pineview. It is quite remote compared to your normal national forest campgrounds, but that is what made it enjoyable. Make sure you have downloaded a map of the area and the waypoint (Google maps or GAIA) if you have AT&T, the reception is quite limited.

This was our first time using Hipcamp and unfortunately, we spent $90 on a site we couldn't enjoy. We tried to get directions to the campsite but did not receive a response from the hosts. Hopefully, they will be more responsive to future guests.

We loved Eppy & Brian’s camping spot hidden away with an amazing view of the valley. There’s a fire ring, table, stairs down to a flat camping spot perfect for a tent. It was the perfect spot! Couldn’t recommended enough!

Eppy, Brian and their land was everything we could have wished for! The camping spot had a bonfire, picnic table, a flat space to set up our tent and amazing views of the sunset, sunrise and stars. We had total privacy yet Brian and Eppy were a short walk away if we needed anything. There is no service which is what we love about camping however there is an amazing restaurant and bar just down the road with great food, drinks, service, views and WiFi! This short trip up to their land was the perfect reset we were hoping for, we will definitely be back!

Eppy and Brian’s spot is so beautiful. They were super accommodating and friendly. It was cold since it’s early May but the area is so pretty and secluded, without being super far out of town. It was so quiet and peaceful. We put the location into google maps and had no issues finding it, even though there wasn’t service up there. We would definitely recommend and are returning in September!

We loved tent camping on Eppy & Brian's property! The views were amazing and it was so secluded we went in July so it was hot during the day but the perfect temperature at night to tent camp. We loved that our dogs could free roam just gotta keep a eye out for rattle snakes lol. Eppy an Brian were so nice an very accommodating! The location isnt far from the pineview reservoir and the causey reservoir we were able to spend the hot parts of the day by the water with the dogs.We 10 outta 10 recommend an we will definitely be going back asap!
