We have a creek that runs our full back boundary. The near by pub and RSL/Museum are perfect for a few beverages. Historic markers dotted around town. In August we Leyburn host The Historic Leyburn Sprints. Which consists of car time trials, markets, food and market stalls and entertainment at both licensed premises.Quite and peaceful self contained camping on flat ground with good access and creek frontage with some friendly kangaroos. Within easy walking distance to Leyburn (5 mins) town,pub, club general store and historical sprint race. We allow contained camp fires and during the day charge up your batteries with your generators. A firepit and timber are supplied and a communal shelter area for gathering with other campers. We may arrange karaoke entertainment for Saturday night if you would like to join us after dinner. Just bring your drinks and have a sing along and a great night. We would love for you to join in. We are only available for Leyburn Sprints. Ticket entry into sprints not included. Pets are welcome but must be contained to your campsite. Pets are not allowed in sprints race area so will have to stay at your campsite. Campsites are available from Monday 12th August 2024. Had a camper van at the back of the block down on the creek. Get spot. Busy weekend with the Leyburn Sprints on, yet hardly noticed the other 35+ caravans etc on site. Easy walk to the pub & RSL. Recommend.

Great location close to the sprints. Plenty of room between campers. Great to see fire pits and plenty of wood supplied. Karaoke on Saturday night was a hoot. Toilets clean. Will definitely return next year and hope to bring some friends with us.

On arrival, Richie asked if we would like a fireplace and complimentary wood delivered. The sites were easy to access, dry and level with plenty of space. There is a walking / biking shortcut provided through the bush back to the road, the local pub is approximately one kilometre away. Peaceful, lots of birds and kangaroos.

Chilling out for the Sprints

It was so easy to camp on Amanda’s property. There was a huge flat paddock with several fire pits, enough for most groups to have one and portaloos, rubbish bins etc. Saturday night there was karaoke up in the hill with a pretty professional sounding Roy Orbison Elvis impersonator. The groups around the paddock were all well behaved and reasonably quiet. What else can I say it’s was so easy and that’s what campings all about.

We had a great stay at Kick n Back on the weekend for The Sprints. There were plenty of other camper's but we weren't on top of each other. Even though we didn't go up to the Karaoke on Saturday night, it was great listening to everyone singing. Thankyou Amanda for letting us use your great space.

Caravan trip to Lyburn Sprintsn

This was my first trip to the Lyburn Sprints. I took the caravan to Amanda’s land and parked under a tree near the creek. It was beautiful and peaceful. This off grid park has a portable toilet for those who didn’t have the facility. I would recommend this hipcamp.

Nice spot, plenty of room. Close enough to walk to Leyburn sprints. 10 to 15 walk. Not sure about the karaoke that kicked on until midnight though, some pretty ordinary singing.

We booked Kick n Back for my son and his partner to stay while we participated in the Leyburn Sprints. Host Amanda was extremely friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to the racing festivities and he was especially pleased to be allowed a fire. Would definitely recommend.

Amanda's Camping sites were well Prepared, with steel firepits🔥, her husband also provided sufficient firewood for the 3 nights which was delightful to ward off the later chill during the night... Location was great, easy walking distance to the Events over the Weekend, Peaceful and Nights 🌙 with starry skies..
