Reconnect with nature and escape the heat on our 28 acre filbert orchard, better known as hazelnuts. On hot summer days you’ll find the temperature under the orchard canopy almost 10 degrees cooler at the heat of the day. Feel free to roam the orchard, play a little hide and seek, hang up a hammock, or bring a blanket and picnic. Within walking or bicycle distance are fantastic amenities including Aurora Colony Vineyards, Pheasant Run Tasting room (Friday summer concerts), Aurora Colony Pub (acoustic Thursday), Filbert Farmhouse Restaurant, White Rabbit Bakery, a local park and lots of antique stores. Within driving distance are tons of wineries, breweries, distilleries and the Woodburn Outlet Mall. Here to visit wine country? Super Amazing!
We loved the orchard! It was a great area, just tucked away enough to not be too loud, but also a convenient location to travel back and forth to the Portland area. There was some train and airplane noise, but it was not bad at all! Portable toilet was clean and kept stocked with toilet a paper and soap, and an outdoor shower was provided as well. There was also an outdoor sink for doing dishes which was also great! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Your own secret garden
This was such a cool camp experience!! The orchard was really lovely and evoked private garden vibes- so peaceful. Camping in the lane between trees also provides lots of privacy. The owners have gone above and beyond with hand washing station, toilets, and outdoor shower. Great communication and space. Top experience!
