This 200 acre property is located within the Cascade Siskiyou National Monument, a land bridge where two mountain ranges meet, creating immense biodiversity and natural beauty. Soda Spring is a bourgeoning community tended land located on the ceded territories of the Shasta, Takilma, Latgawa and Klamath peoples, just 10 minutes from the south end of Ashland, Oregon. The property is primarily oak savannah and pastureland, with adjacent fir/pine and madrone/manzanita forests and hillsides. The land sits in a valley where both Soda Creek and Carter Creek enter in to Emigrant Creek as it flows onward to Emigrant Lake, just a mile away. The land is being stewarded by a small group of humans and large community of wildlife and insects. Together we are slowly creating something special... including community event and classroom spaces, gardens, orchards, holistically managed ranch lands, campgrounds and wild places. Currently there is one vintage trailer available. By next spring there will be additional camping sites and RV sites also available.Tabitha is a 16 foot vintage travel trailer located in the back yard of a residence and next two a second (residential) trailer. Tabitha has a double bed plus a single loft bed, a small kitchen and dining table, partial solar electricity and gas appliances, well water and a composting toilet. A shared shower is available upon request as well as a nearby large common room. There is a fire pit for use during the wet season and a small outdoor table for dining

Poplar Nook Trailer (was Tabitha)
Tabitha sits on a gorgeous piece of land with big trees and birds and a couple of sweet resident cats. It's very quiet and tranquil. We loved walking across the road to the creek; we spend a lovely hour dipping our toes in the water and listening to the birds. I slept so well in Tabitha's very comfortable bed; I'd recommend this place to anyone who values simplicity and beauty. Sarah is a kind, generous host.

Poplar Nook Trailer (was Tabitha)
Three of us fit comfortably in the cute and vintage Tabitha, beds were great and the space felt clean and orderly. Sara is a friendly and welcoming host, sharing tips for local fun and exploration. There are views from different places of the quiet property, nice places to drink a morning coffee from, too. Excellent place to take a shallow dip in a nearby creek too!

Great place!
We really enjoyed our time at Sarah’s place. The property is beautiful and quiet. Location is convenient to town, but feels more remote. We had a restful night sleeping in the trailer. Sarah is a responsive and welcoming host. Excellent value for the price. We look forward to staying again!

Excellent Place to Stay!
Sarah is super friendly and we received a warm welcome and a run down of where to explore. Tabitha (the camper) is nestled on a large property in a very beautiful area. We took a walk along the creek and another up into the hills. Spent part of the evening reading books while laying on the trampoline. Bed was comfy and warm. Composting toilet just outside was clean and had everything needed. We were just passing through so we only stayed one night but we will definitely return for a longer stay.

A memorable stay!
Sarah and her landmates were very accommodating and kind! The property itself is beautiful and private, tucked away into the hills and close enough to the town that it isn’t isolated. Her instructions to get to the site were concise and clear, and she is a great communicator - very quick to respond and friendly :) Choosing this Hipcamp definitely made my first trip to Oregon memorable! I would highly recommend staying on Sarah’s land especially if you want to connect with nature
