It's hospitality the way camping used to feel — you're a guest here, not just a reservation. Each private campsite sits tucked among the trees, offering a calm, secluded base for unwinding, reconnecting, and soaking up the outdoors. Skyline is genuine country land — rolling, natural terrain with freshly mowed sites rather than paved pads — and that rugged, unpolished character is exactly the charm. Come with a sense of adventure and you'll feel right at home. Days here are yours to shape: wander the on-site trail system, gather around a campfire, or simply settle in for fresh air, wide-open stargazing, and the kind of stillness that's hard to find anywhere else. Deepwood Den — Skyline Retreat | Southern Ohio *Deep in, off the grid, all the way unplugged.* Deepwood Den is the most remote site on Skyline Retreat's property. Hiking to the site is required — guests park and hike in, passing through the Skyline Summit campsite along the way, roughly a 3-4 minute walk. The spot is surprisingly level for your tents, given the trail terrain. This is the site for guests who want true seclusion. The canopy closes in overhead, the understory grows thick around you, and the only sounds are the ones the forest makes on its own. Come prepared for a raw camping experience and a genuine hike-in — and know that what you get in return is a level of quiet and privacy the rest of the property can't match. A fire ring anchors the clearing and a picnic table gives you a place to settle in. A trail sign lets you know you've arrived. Given the thick canopy overhead, solar lighting here is limited and not always reliably charged — bring a headlamp or lantern just in case. A portable restroom is on-site, and fresh water is available from the property spigot — guests should bring a filter or purification tablets as water is not treated. Showers are located back at the main sites near Aurora's Grove, at the top of the driveway. There are no electrical or trailer hookups at this site, and given the hike-in access, it's best suited to guests packing light. A crackling fire ring anchors the center, a picnic table gives you a place to eat, drink, and linger, and when you're ready to clean up, a hot/cold outdoor shower has you covered. A fire ring anchors the center, and a picnic table gives you a place to settle in. A hot/cold outdoor shower and portable restroom are on-site. Fresh water is available from the property spigot — guests should bring a filter or purification tablets as water is not treated. There are no electrical hookups or trailer hookups at this site. Aurora's Grove

Out in the middle of nowhere, tons of birds and native plants and nature. Plus it was fun to see the evolution of his land! FYI the camping is a little sloped (I care about this but had forgotten to check that off, in my searching). Luckily it wasn’t that sloped and was all good. Adam was super responsive and it was a beautiful site. Would recommend!

Aurora's Grove

This is a nice secluded spot on a forested hillside and the host is very nice and helpful. Two of the sites are not level so you will tent on a hillside. The driveway is long and steep and well constructed. The area at the top is level, but tight. Any vehicle over 20' or with a trailer will have a hard time turning around. Overall a good camping spot.

Orion's Pointe

The host was very friendly and accommodating. Apple Maps brought us directly to the address. Cell signal is hit and miss. The driveway is steep so a 4 wheel drive vehicle would be best. Camp sites are all hillside. It was very quiet and we enjoyed the fireflies and solar powered lights that came on at dusk. Toilet facilities minimal but adequate. It was completely overcast while we were there, but I imagine there are some really nice sky views when it isn’t. We enjoyed our stay.

Aurora's Grove

Gorgeous property with good size fore ring and lights strung above the campsite. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, even going as far as bringing up water and s'more supplies for our stay. We had a great time star gazing and roasting marshmallows over the fire. This campsite was incredible tranquil, well maintained and overall a fantastic way to get away and reconnect with nature.
