Nothing Fancy is just that—a nice, safe place to stay for a night, a weekend, or a longer visit. We're offering a 10% discount to the first 100 reservations and will always support fellow veterans with a 15% discount. There is one full-hookup site large enough for a 35-foot camper, with 50-amp electric, water, and sewer. There is also one site large enough for any road-legal RV, with water and electrical hookups. Another site is perfect for a van, and there are several tent sites, some of which include water and electricity. The water comes from a filtered well. Security is provided by cameras located throughout the property, and high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout. Each site includes a fire ring, and a handsaw is provided for collecting firewood from the piles located around the property and surrounding woods. We are secluded in the country but close to everything: • Kelly's Corner (local diner, opening soon) – 1 minute • Dollar General Market – 4 minutes • Moores Creek National Battlefield – 8 minutes • Walmart – 20 minutes • Battleship North Carolina – 30 minutes • White Lake – 35 minutes • Wrightsville Beach – 44 minutes • Fort Fisher Aquarium and 4x4 Beach – 1 hour Activities on-site include several trails, a tire swing, and excellent wildlife viewing. You may spot deer, foxes, cardinals, and pileated woodpeckers, just to name a few. There is also a barn cat you may see, though he mostly keeps to himself, and chickens live on the other side of the property. Pets are welcome. Leashes are not required but should be available if needed.
