We had a wonderful stay at this off-grid cabin! It was the perfect place to unplug, relax, and enjoy nature. The cabin was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed for a comfortable stay while still providing a true off-grid experience. The peaceful surroundings made it easy to unwind, and we loved spending time outdoors taking in the beautiful scenery. Our host was friendly, welcoming, and provided clear directions and helpful information before we arrived. If you're looking for a quiet getaway to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life, this cabin is a fantastic choice. We would definitely stay here again!

Camping here was amazing! The land that Brian has is beautiful and you need to take the time explore it! The cabin was very comfortable and 90% private (with only the occasional 4 wheeler in the distance). Brian was incredibly accommodating, welcoming, and attentive to anything we needed.
My partner and I painted a couple of rocks during our stay and hope to add more in the future!
I loved this camping experience! Brian was an amazing host. He was helpful, kind, and informative! My dog was happy as can be running around freely! Super super private site! Soo nice!

This was our first Hipcamp experience and it couldn’t have been better. Brian is a super helpful and accommodating host and provided us with water, firewood, and showed us the amenities. We would absolutely stay again!

Had a beautiful time at Brian’s camp, really secluded and comfortable with the hot shower and compost toilet, thanks for being so welcoming to us Brian!
Brian's spot was very quiet and actually felt quite luxurious with the platform, Adirondack chairs, composting toilet and outdoor shower. He was very easy to communicate with and welcomed me when I arrived. Overall, the site was beautiful and tucked away/very private. Can't wait to go back!
Me and my husband decided to take a camping trip for Labor Day weekend. I can honestly say it was one of the best hipcamp sites I have ever been to. It was extremely beautiful and private. It was a bit of a walk from the car/bathroom to the site itself but not the terribly hard to do. Loved the outdoor shower ❤️ plenty of fire wood too! Wish we had more water, we ended up running out before the weekend was up. We should have brought a few gallons ourselves. Would absolutely recommend and would love to stay again.

We loved our trip to Wind Spirit! Brian helped take everything we needed to the campsite. It had a nice platform to keep us off the ground which came in handy when it rained. It was very peaceful and serene. The shower and bathroom area were cleaned and worked great. We would definitely camp at Wind Spirit again
Camping at Wind Spirit was so peaceful. Brian was amazing and super helpful, so was his wonderful dog sierra. This site in the Northern Catskills is unique because it is a walk in but has a super cool shower with hot water and a composting toilet, all very new, oh and an amazing tent platform.

Stayed at wind spirit for the weekend. Brian was a great host. Helped bring the majority of our stuff to the site with his utility tractor. Very quite peaceful serene campsite. There is a nice trail to walk through the woods. There is a nice platform to pitch your tent so you are not directly on the ground. There is also a nice fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Brian provided plenty of firewood and a big jug of spring water to use. Definitely felt like you were away from it all without being out in the middle of nowhere. The hot shower was a great bonus and the bathroom. Only a short walk from site. If you are looking for a truly awesome camping experience I definitely recommend wind spirit!!
Outstanding place, clean and well maintained. Brian was amazing with his help getting our camping equipment to designated area. Bathroom and shower area was clean and order free.
This was one of the best camping experiences I've had, period. From the moment we arrived we were treated really well and Brian's grounds are impeccable. Its beautiful, nature to its fullest, yet you still have the amenities like full bathroom with outdoor shower. I can't recommend this site enough and hope I'm able to go back soon.

I have nothing but good things to say about this campsite and Brian! My boyfriend and I wanted a quiet private place to spend a weekend tent camping and this was perfect! The campsite is a 2-3 minute walk from the outdoor shower and bathroom which is where you park your vehicle as well. The days we were there were hot and humid so it felt amazing to be-able to walk a couple minutes from the campsite at the end of the day to take a shower. Brian was very welcoming and accommodating. Since there is a walk from the Parking area to the campsite, he offered to bring whatever we needed on his gator. He also left firewood and five gallons of fresh water down at the campsite and gave us a lighter and some newspaper just in case we needed it when we wanted to start a fire! This was the perfect place to spend our weekend camping!
Brains land was amazing! The elevated deck for tenting was a genius touch. The fire pit was amazing and we spent most of our time just sitting there and relaxing. Brain was a great host. He went above and beyond to help with gear and even some set up set backs, including bringing down a generator to inflate the mattress with. They had a really nice trail all the way through the woods. Overall it was a great hidden oasis to relax and enjoy nature in. Thanks Brain!

My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brian’s site. It was just what we were looking for - it was wooded and peaceful and felt completely private. There was ample sitting areas and firewood, and Brian even supplied us with a cooler of spring water. Brian was a great host and I would definitely recommend this site!
Brian is a Grade A host! This was our first Hipcamp and it was an absolute perfect experience. No complaints whatsoever. Peaceful, secluded, yet still close to some really cool spots in the Catskills. If you’re looking for a spot to book, don’t hesitate pick Windspirit!

Took a last minute trip for some hiking in the Catskills this past weekend and was incredibly lucky for a cancellation that Brian and the Wind Spirit Camp had that allowed us to stay. Not only was the site pristine, but Brian was incredibly responsive and helpful upon arrival. We ended up running late and weren’t able to communicate our lateness in a timely manner, but Brian still made sure to be there and help with transport of our gear to the site with his super cute dog. Clean and well-stocked bathroom, hot shower, fresh spring drinking water, and plentiful dry firewood. Honestly you couldn’t ask for more after a day in the woods. The raised platform allowed us to pitch a two person and four person tent on it with room to spare. The chairs around the fire pit and bench allowed us all to hangout together, we didn’t even need the chairs we brought. The site is set back in the woods where you have complete privacy and beautiful lush, green scenery. Overall really could see the care that was taken with the site and would HIGHLY recommend booking this spot. I know we are already thinking of our next camping trip back. Thanks so much Brian, the only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer!

Nice private campsite. The hosts are very kind and accommodating us. Water they provided us in the big tank was very helpful and enough for 2 nights camp. Highly Recommend to a couple/small family for relaxing and hiking weekend!
Brian’s site was amazing, there was a great trail around the property and a nice outdoor shower. Everything was really well thought out and it was a great place for some peace and relaxation. The site was secluded and felt very private. They also went above and beyond from helping us bring gear to our site, to providing fresh spring water. Highly recommend.

Brian's land was beautiful with green forests and even trails to walk around on site! It felt incredibly secluded in the woods and Brian's cabin is on the other side of the property so it felt very private. Wonderful fire pit, great tent platform, plenty of wildlife, and a great host. Brian even got us tons of dry fire wood and a big 5 gallon jug of fresh spring water from nearby! He also helped bring our gear down from the parking area to the campsite in his gator! We loved being able to have a hot outdoor shower each night and the shower even had pretty solar night lights so we could shower at night in the dark after a long day of exploring!! There are plenty of interesting things to do and see nearby and you are just a short drive from the northern part of Catskills Park! We had fun exploring Hunter Mountain, Kaaterskill Falls, Phoenicia, Blenheim-Gilboa Reservoir, Lansing Manor, plenty of fire towers, and the Woodstock Museum all within an hours drive nearby! The valley where the site is has lovely views of green rolling farmland and mountains and we felt just far enough away from civilization but with the comforts of home. Brian and his adorable dog Sierra truly made us feel at home and he was so kind and accommodating. What a great first HipCamp experience 😁
Brian’s land was absolutely perfect! When we pulled up he was there to welcome us and helped bring our supplies down to the site with his gator. The site was about 3 minutes walk away from the car with the bathroom and shower located next to the car. The camp site itself was very well maintained with a fire pit, picnic table and large platform that was able to hold 2 tents with walking room around each. It was very dog friendly and my puppy loved running the trail back and forth from the site to the car. There was a bunch of firewood available as well as a 5 gallon jug of drinking water. Brian was a very welcoming host and available if needed at his cabin. This is definitely a spot my family and I would return to for another trip!

Solitude at an Enchanting Campsite

We stayed for two nights at Brian’s enchanting campsite (and this was our first HipCamp experience. Five stars all around.
Brian and his pup Sierra greeted us heartily upon our arrival, and showed us to the camp site. We have a small SUV, and were able to drive to the small parking area close to the campsite. Cars with lower clearance will likely have to park further out, and Brian offered to drive us all the way there in his Gator if our car couldn’t make it. It’s about a 5 minute walk from the campsite to the facilities up near the front of the property.
Once at the campsite, all you hear is the natural world around you. We wanted a quiet weekend outdoors, and this location was perfect.
Make sure you stop at a gas station when you get within 15 or so miles of the site, to pick up some local firewood for the campfire (and materials for s’mores). Don’t forget extra water, as there is none at the campsite!
The tent site and picnic tables have lots of foliage cover, but there is a lovely opening above the campfire pit where you can see the stars. All in all, it was a fantastically restorative weekend in the great outdoors, and we whole-heartedly recommend Brian’s site. Thanks for a fantastic getaway weekend, Brian (and Sierra)!

The location was what I needed Secluded place no service and just quiet. The location is on one of Brian's properties, You won't be able to drive up right to the lot but Brian rides you out there in his tractor if needed. and Also brings you back if needed. All in all great experience for my first hipcamp. Thank you
