This natural rock slab, measuring 30-40 feet in length, spans the front of the property and faces northeast. Enjoy the sunrise over the open fields ahead, or find solace in the shady trees behind. The rock, though flat, is not perfectly level and varies in width from 15 to 8 feet. This distinctive location offers a stunning 360-degree view of nature and seclusion, overlooking the meticulously maintained grounds.

Enjoy direct access to our pond for fishing and swimming. Please note, the pond is 20ft deep, with no beach. The slope is a steep drop from the waters edge.

The wildlife at the Vista is accustomed to humans and is not easily frightened. Please refrain from feeding or interacting with any animals you encounter. Help us maintain a healthy and peaceful coexistence with nature.

If you prefer an open vantage point, this site is perfect for you, offering unobstructed 360-degree visibility. The flat rock is easily accessible from the driveway and is just 20 feet from the pond.

If you are camping on the flat rock, this path lies to the southeast (or, on your right). It winds gently through the surrounding field and into the lush forest. All walking paths are well maintained, clearly marked, and provide ample opportunities to connect with nature. Our trails form contained loops, so you won't have to worry about getting lost.

Embrace the simplicity of nature with our carry-in, carry-out policy. Our campsite offers a back-to-basics experience, as it does not have electricity or running water. A Porta-John is available on-site for your convenience. Whether you prefer traditional tents or contained campers, our campsite accommodates all setups. Our property has three levels, so please ensure you make the correct reservation for your desired location. Please only ONE tent (max 4 people) per reservation. Enjoy our hiking trails, fish in our fully stocked pond, or simply relax on an inner tube with your favorite frosty drink! Our well-groomed walking trails conveniently loop, ensuring you can’t get lost. Additionally, there are marked trails that lead deeper into the woods, perfect for ATV enthusiasts and trail explorers. Important Information: Reserve your campsite in advance to secure your spot. Limited spaces are available. To maintain privacy for all campers, we strictly adhere to reserved campsite locations. If you do not comply with your reservation, you will be asked to relocate or leave. Safety: Please adhere to all safety guidelines and respect the natural environment during your stay. Refrain from feeding or interacting with wildlife, and appreciate it from distance. We strictly enforce a carry-in, carry-out policy, requiring all trash and animal waste to be removed upon departure. For more information, please refer to The Vista Rules. Pets: Well-behaved and respectful pets are invited to join the adventure. Owners are responsible for cleaning up and removing all waste. Off-leash exploration is encouraged at the owner’s discretion. With vast expanses, including ungroomed paths, open water, and unmarked acres, there’s plenty for dogs to explore. Dog owners must have pet waste bags and a leash on-hand for added safety. Prepare to relax, unwind, and immerse yourself in the beauty of the great outdoors at The Vista. Please note that it gets very dark at night, please prepare accordingly.

What a wonderful location! We had an overnight on the way south and this was perfect! So peaceful and beautiful. We walked around the pond in the evening and following morning. Our cats loved exploring Without being scared by other people or cars. Thanks for the lovely experience!
