Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Melrude Whistle Stop bar and grill. Melrude Town Hall. Valhalla ParkLevel with heavy vegetation. Across Cemetery Road is the Whistle Stop Bar & Grill. Three waterways are nearby as well as three boat landings, to three Lakes. At camp Spooky campers will have 2 Acres of land with road access. Across the road is the bar and next to that is the town hall / volunteer fire department and large park call "Valhalla Park". West on Cemetery Road is the Riverview Cemetery.

Nice place to camp. We were in the area for a mountain bike race and couldn’t find any hotels. This worked great for us. You will hear a couple trains at night but otherwise quiet and private. We will most likely be back next year!

It was okay
Overall, it was great for what I needed it for a spot, put my camper. It was kind of hard just find the path Driving by. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with big campers (over 16'), Because you will have to back it in down a path to an opening. Its peaceful and sacluted with privacy surroundings

This is a very isolated campsite in a beautiful location. Trains go by occasionally at night, but not a reason to skip staying here. There is not enough room to turn a vehicle around at the site , so one must back out when leaving.
