Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.
Rosewood Homestead is a small working homestead. We have horses, sheep, chickens, a big garden, and all the usual sounds and activity that come with homestead living. We’re less than a mile from Bass River Recreation Area and the Grand River, with plenty of nearby kayak launches, fishing spots, and hiking. It’s a quiet, simple place to camp and enjoy the outdoors, with the animals and woods right outside your tent.We allow for tent campers in this area. However, please note, there are no restroom facilities and will require you to be self contained/pack in/pack out. This site is located on the back side of the property in a large cut grass field. You will have views of grass field and woods with the sweet songs of sheep, horses, and chickens surrounding you.
