Escape the fast pace of life for tranquility in the country while enjoying the vast beauty of Northern Michigan. We have a primitive glamping site with many amenities including a queen size bed, solar powered chargers, and a portable shower. Perhaps our best amenities though are a glimpse into life on a regenerative, working farm and the serenity of nature. Our glamping tent location offers privacy but with the opportunity to see our cows, pigs, chickens, and turkeys grazing on the farm. THE TENT: Includes:  Queen size bed with sheets, comforter, pillows and blankets Nightstands Papasan Chair Battery operated lights and lanterns Coat rack Towels/Shampoo/Conditioner/Shower Gel Dishware (plates, bowls, cups, coffee mugs) and cutlery (knives, forks, spoons) Cooking utensils (wooden spoons, spatulas, measuring cups and spoons, butcher block with knives) Cooking Stove (propane included) Portable Manual Coffee Maker (French Press style) Portable Solar charger for cell phones Games/Books First Aid kit Hand Sanitizer OUTDOOR AREA OF SITE: Includes: A porch area that is covered for your convenience. A firepit with firewood provided. Outdoor chairs and a small table and chairs are provided. There is a large table containing a camp stove, water dispenser, cookware, cleaning tubs/soap/sponge. Portable Toilet (we contract with a company to provide this service and it is cleaned after each stay and switched monthly) Shower Area- we use a gravity fed shower unit with water that is heated with a small propane heater. Barbeque with Charcoal included (cooking utensils included) THE FARM: You will be staying on our farm. The site is located at the back of our property but you will be able to see cattle, chickens, turkeys and pigs during your stay. You may wake up to our rooster crowing or to the sound of cows munching on grass near the tent (don't worry, they are fenced in!). You can take a walk to see our pigs lazing in our pasture area and our turkeys scratching their latest patch of grass. This is a working farm, so we ask you to be aware of that and respect the animals and the fences which keep them in and are electrified.
