Maple Grove farm is a twenty acre preserved livestock and hay farm in Harford County Maryland. It is home to sheep, alpaca, an old horse, chickens , dogs, and a cat or two. The world headquarters for Remsberg Inc Photo Studios is in the older farmhouse on the property and we lead photo safaris and workshops in Africa and England through the year. Our crack team of Border Collies are here to assist you with all your outdoor activity needs from frisbee tossing to ball throwing. Gather around the fire under the stars and listen to the sounds of sheep doing whatever it is sheep do with one of our loaner dogs at your feet and horses grazing in the sunset on the hill. We are only three miles from W42 (Fallston Airport) if you are flying in. Nearby there are hiking trails and a swimming hole at Gunpowder Falls State Park one mile away. Boordy Vinyards down the road has a farmers market Thursdays and wine tastings other days or get homemade ice cream at Prigel Creamery just past it. Take your canoe up to Eden Mill or Bike on the Ma & Pa and NCR trails nearby.

Set up camp in sheep pasture on Maple grove farm.   Our crack team of Border Collies are here to assist you with all your outdoor needs .  Gather around the fire under the stars and listen to the sounds of sheep doing whatever it is sheep do with one of our loaner dogs at your feet and horses grazing in the sunset on the hill.   Nearby there are hiking trails and a swimming hole at Gunpowder Falls State Park one mile away.  Boordy Vinyards down the road has a farmers market Thursdays and wine tastings many days or get homemade ice cream at Prigel Creamery  Take your canoe up to Eden Mill or Bike on the Ma & Pa and NCR trails nearby.  Pastures rotate so exact spaces will vary as the sheep are using them but all are a short walk to Portable restroom and water spigot.  Fire pit is provided and wood is available for purchase

Sleep in a rooftop tent on a classic 1966 Safari Land Rover in the middle of a sheep farm .   Loaner border collies are available to keep to company around the fire pit and , portable toilet and water facilities are short walk away near the farmhouse. Our crack team of Border Collies are here to assist you with all your outdoor activity needs from frisbee tossing at ball throwing.  Gather around the fire under the stars and listen to the sounds of sheep doing whatever it is sheep do with one of our loaner dogs at your feet and horses grazing in the sunset on the hill.  When the weather is nice we occasional show movies by the barn drive in style.      Nearby there are hiking trails and a swimming hole at Gunpowder Falls State Park one mile away.  Boordy Vinyards down the road has a farmers market Thursdays and wine tastings many days or get homemade ice cream at Prigel Creamery  Take your canoe up to Eden Mill or Bike on the Ma & Pa and NCR trails nearby.

Vintage van life - 1940's style

Glamp like Woody Guthrie in a classic old school canvas wall tent on our the bed of our 1946 Chevy farm truck.  We put the re-creation in recreational vehicle with an antique brass bed, vintage table and chairs, old rugs, kerosene lanterns , and when fall comes we will even have a pot belly stove to keep you warm inside   Outside a fire ring is provided at a safe distance for all your marshmallow roasting needs . Campers have access to community porta pot, fresh water, and a crack team of highly trained border collies are provided to hang out with you.  Our  1.5 ton Chevy PK truck was built in August 1946 at Broening Highway in Baltimore and was the last year of Art Deco style Chevy's that were designed before the war.  It sports a stovebolt six engine and was top of the line with a pto driven dump bed  and two speed rear.

Camping here was fun, especially for our little one to enjoy all the super friendly and adorable animals. There was ample space in the field so campers are not close to each other. It is also located with great access to water and the State Parks, as well as convenient to town to grab what you need.

Great place very inviting. Their dogs are great. The properties terrific and fun. Open field essentially one tree for tent camping to stay in the shade, which was great. Had a very, very clean porta potty.

There are very minimal amenities for $48 a night. I only picked this site because I only needed one night and the nearby state parks require three night stays on holiday weekends. If you don't have similar limitations, I strongly suggest the state parks, which have better facilities and only cost $22.50 per night for tent sites.

What a beautiful little escape! We absolutely loved our time here. The farm was so peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature, with beautiful horses and friendly dogs. One of the dogs even came over and sat with us for a while, which was such a sweet part of our stay. It felt like a special place to get away from the routine of everyday life. One of the highlights was definitely the wide-open sky. Once the sun went down, the stars were incredible! We spent the evening gathered around the fire, making s’mores and taking in the beautiful night sky. As the night settled in, we could hear the crickets chirping and the unmistakable hoots of a barred owl in the distance. It was incredibly peaceful and made us feel completely surrounded by nature. The next morning, we enjoyed another fire while taking in the quiet beauty of the farm and our surroundings. There was something so relaxing about starting the day that way—fresh air, nature all around us, and no need to rush. This is a really specula place where you can slow down, enjoy the simple things, and truly appreciate your surroundings. It felt like a hidden little gem, and we left feeling relaxed and refreshed. We would happily stay here again!

We (3 adults and 3 kids, ages 7-11) tent camped here. It was a good level field for the tents and and nice open space for yard games. The hosts were helpful and welcoming and so were all the animals. The dogs made us feel right at home. Good star gazing at night. Water spigot was nearby and port-a-pot was about as good as they can get. Such a charming little farm. We would go back if ever in the area again.

Wonderful and unique experience
Vintage van life - 1940's style
The Vintage van life spot is fantastic. Edwin communicated very clearly in advance of my stay and everything about the stay was incredibly easy. Waking up to watch the sun rise over the trees as the birds and bugs sang away was an amazing experience.

I loved my time at the farm. The horses and the views were absolutely beautiful. At night I heard the horses chomping away on a late night snack. I also appreciated the fairy lights on the porter potty.

My stay was very good. I wasn’t there terribly long because of the weather. It was exactly as expected and very accommodating. Loved waking up and feeding the sheep. They dogs are kind and inviting. Would stay again.

Great place if you're looking for a getaway on a farm! We walked away with stories of sheep and the border collies on site. Also, enjoyed the classic campfire and although other people can set up on the property, it still feels very private with at least 40-50 yards minimum between campers. The location is close to a lot of great local produce farms and a creamery.

We had an excellent stay at Maple Grove Farm! It was definitely hot and shade was a commodity but overall the stay was excellent. The porter potty was well maintained. The host pups were super sweet and got along well with our dogs. The sheep were adorable and provided the perfect ambience. Overall it was a great trip and I would recommend to anyone!

We enjoyed camping in the pasture very much. It was secluded, quiet, and pastoral. Edwin’s dogs were so sweet and ours enjoyed playing with them. We would definitely come back!

Sheep Safari in Classic Land Rover
We loved staying on Edwin's farm. He was welcoming. The safari was really fun, unique, and peaceful. We came with 2 adults and 2 kids under 6 so we could all fit in the safari bed, but it'd be tight quarters if anyone was much bigger! We loved watching the sheep on the farm...we had a chance to see some young spring baby sheep which were so cute. The outhouse was clean. The fire pit was perfect for marshmallows. The site is close to Waffle House so we got breakfast before driving home. Great getaway, thank you!!!!

It's a big land where you are not on each other. You can see the sheeps and their babies. We were greeted by Edwin's 3 dogd. Mars even showed us the place and stayed with us until the beginning of the evening.
