Great communication. Bottle Bay is peaceful and the location offers easy access to the lake and is near Bottle Bay Marina (boat rental and great food). Access via Sagle Road is much easier than Bottle Bay Road (wider and less curves although a bit longer). Final road to Hipcamp is a very narrow road that is doable slowly and without tow. Water for drinking would be best brought in as site water is quite dark and better for utility such as flushing.
Great communication! Very peaceful spot with easy access to the lake. As noted, you may want to bring in fresh water for drinking as the well water is probably better for utility purposes but that’s easy enough to do. The road in was narrow but easy to navigate (highly recommend coming in in on Sagle Rd vs. Bottle Bay Rd) just go slow. Two options to get in the driveway into the Hipcamp and we had no problems (without tows) on our two 32 ft Class A’s. Also very close to Bottle Bay Marina which we’d highly recommend for boat rental and smash burgers on the dock.
My family recently stayed at this lovely hipcamp for our first time, and it did not disappoint! My husband, myself, and my two daughters (aged 7 and 13) spent five days and four nights there with our camper and boat. The sites are spacious and located just across the small "road" from the lake. We were able to launch our boat just across the bay and keep it at the dock located right at our site. There is a small rocky beach area, complete with firepit, where we stored our paddleboards when they weren't in use. Our girls were able to paddleboard right there in the semi-quiet bay without any trouble. We had sewer, water, and electric hook-ups, with plenty of water pressure. The hosts were beyond compare! They were in the home, which is on-site, but didn't make us feel at all as if we were sharing a space. Turns out that the husband, Rick, is very knowledgeable about boats, and he didn't hesitate to jump in the water and look at my boat when my husband was having some trouble with a small leak on our boat. He was an absolute lifesaver! His wife, Tammy, was kind and nice to talk to. She and Rick are super familiar with the area and gave us ideas for where to eat and where to explore. We all agreed that we will be booking again next year!

We enjoyed the waterfront spot. The dock was very easy access for us to use for launching our paddle boards and for the dog to play in the water. Very nice cove on lake Pend' Oreille great having full hook up. Beautiful setting enjoyed meeting Tammy great hostess.

We so enjoyed our weekend stay! The floating docks and lakefront access were perfect for swimming and SUP board use. Peaceful and beautiful location. Hookups all worked perfectly and we met the owners who are very friendly and kind. Great spot to stay on the lake!
The site was as advertised- great location, quiet, off the beaten track with full hook ups for rv’s. As in previous reviews you need to be prepared for the water as it contains a lot of iron. The site is right off the dock area for paddle boards or has a ramp if u have a small boat. The locals are very friendly and don’t miss the burger bar on the other side of the lake. There is also a great boat rental outfit there called A day on The Lake. Ask for Martina. All in all it was as good as it gets for RV camping.

Fair warning if you’re driving a rv. Road in and out kinda sucks. It’s uneven dirt and the water is intermittent and leaves bad hard water stains looks like old urine on your shower and tub and toilet bowl. Garfield bay is AMAZING, but was not impressed with Bottle Bay.

We really enjoyed staying on Tammys land it had all the services we needed and was very clean. They provided a fire pit a trash can and the location was very accessable with a great view we will be staying again.

Hosts are great. They understand there are some improvements that will benefit the quality of the stay, but clean, quiet and as advertised.
We had a great stay on the site! We came with our water tank filled due to iron in the water, but the host said a filtration system will be installed in the future. So quiet and peaceful - we saw bald eagles and enjoyed the site and all the hookups worked perfectly. Tammy was very responsive and helpful. We’ll be back!

Great, clean site with a beautiful lake view. Hosts are super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Downtown Sandpoint is close by boat and vehicle.
We recommend the great burgers and fries at Burger Bay. It's a short drive or boat ride from the spot.
It was a great spot. The host was very nice and accommodating. Will stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay at this campsite! Our hosts were so welcoming and made everything easy from the start. The site was quiet and peaceful, with waterfront access that made mornings and evenings extra relaxing. Having water, electricity, and sewer hookups at the site was super convenient, so it felt comfortable while still being close to nature.
One of the best parts was paddling across the cove to a cute little burger bar—such a fun and unique way to grab a casual meal. It really made the weekend feel like a getaway. Perfect spot for a long weekend!

Overall, it was a great location idea being lakefront. Access right across the lane but no stable dock to sit on or fish off of much to my sons disappointment. The serviced lot having sewer, 50 amp and water is necessary as there are no facilities. Water was unfortunately unfiltered from the tap and very heavy with iron deposits. Wish we knew that before. We filled buckets of water from the lake for our dogs which was okay but everything stunk like when doing dishes and showering. Site would greatly benefit from adding gravel to the site pad as all the jagged rocks on the ground hurts to even walk on with a carpet over top. New picnic table, extra large umbrella and large garbage can provided.

Great spot right next to the lake. Very clean with great views. The owners are super nice and very accommodating! I absolutely will book this spot in the future. Clean water with great pressure! 50 amp box. Fire pit and picnic tables. And a dock on the lake.
The location with lake access is amazing, as are hosts. Located in a quiet bay on Lake Pend Oreille you can swim, paddle board or just relax and watch the stunning sunset. However you get there, visit the marina across the bay for delicious smash burgers and some of the best french fries available (ignore the Google pics… those are old news).
A few things to know… the water has iron, which overwhelmed my 3-filter system. It does have a smell and will stain your shower. The site is large and level, but has large crushed rock so bring a mat to put down. Verizon cell service is almost zero and the site backs up against a hill that blocks Starlink. Bring a long cord to clear the trees.

We had a great time ! The place is absolutely beautiful and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The lake is stunning, and there’s so much to do in the area—plenty of nature, activities, and great views. Highly recommended!
Excellent space! This is a truly beautiful and peaceful setting—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The site is thoughtfully laid out, and the dock is a wonderful addition—we spent hours enjoying the water, lounging, and taking in the views. We bright our boat and really made it with it. It’s scenic, serene, and has a welcoming feel.
The 50 amp hookup is a great amenity for those who need it (just note that it is only 50 amp, so bring an adapter if you need one). The water spigot is a bit farther from the pad than usual—I had two hoses and it worked perfectly. Also, the last half mile of road is a single-lane stretch, so be prepared for possible oncoming traffic.
Overall, this is a top-notch Hipcamp site and we’re already looking forward to returning. A peaceful spot with thoughtful touches and a great setup.
