Site 1- Our Rv fit perfectly on a gravelly road between vineyards. It was easy to find and we enjoyed going into Hopland. The view was very scenic.

This is a great property at an amazing price. My partner once booked a place at a bargain rate that turned out to be just a dirt parking lot, so we were a little worried. However, when we arrived, the view was absolutely beautiful and the setting was so peaceful. Definitely a five-star experience—we’d love to visit again in the summer.

We stayed at this beautiful property during our trip to Fort Bragg. It was quiet, scenic, and convenient. The grazing sheep are fun to watch. We really enjoyed our time here. Two dogs barked at us when we first entered the gate, but they turned out to be friendly once they realized we were there to camp.

Great place ! we stopped with our tent on the way up to eureka the sunrise was amazing! such a cool property. Of course there are dogs it’s a FARM and they protect the other farm animals onsite. I think I heard them barking maybe once at night but it just made me happy to know they love their job!

Beautiful scenery and greeted by a friendly Great Pyrenees. We wish we could’ve stayed longer but needed a play to sleep to cut up our trip. Easy to get to and instructions were easy to follow.

Just off Highway 101, this spot is easy to get to and has a gorgeous view of the vineyard and they have a pond. It’s also a great place for my morning hiking. They have farm animals such as sheep and chicken.

overall this was a great camp to stay at. The ground was level to park a car on and had everything that was advertised, as well as a local dog to pet. Did have an issue of finding the spot but that was on me getting there when it was dark.

This is a beautiful location, and we will return. We arrived after several days of rain, and the farm was muddy in many spots, making access to some sites difficult. The best flat, non-muddy site available was next to the vineyard with grazing sheep and a guard dog. The dog barked quite a bit at night because of the noise we made (I think) and sometimes he was right next to our travel trailer. Other than that, we and our dog loved the place. We will plan around the weather in the future.

Site is too close to tenant’s house. Host should let tenant know to respect the visitor’s privacy. The exit to the road needs to be marked as to not drive into drainage ditch. My rear wheel got stuck. Needed to call a tow truck company to get me out. A simple marker of some kind would have avoided this. Cost me over $300 to get pulled out.

There's a pack of 4-5 dogs that barked constantly and nobody was there to quiet them down. I arrived at 3:30 and all of them barked every 5-10 minutes for 3 hours, then 1 or 2 barked nonstop for another 1.5 hours . Had all the windows closed and could barely hear myself think. Host was apologetic but offered no solution other than waiting for their owner to come home and bring them in at 8pm. Apparently they came home at 7 and brought them in and after they quieted down things were fine but can't recommend the place for as long as this can happen. Felt like I parked in a kennel. Also, I love dogs, have two myself, and they were friendly / fine, but the description should specifically mention there is a big pack of dogs running around loose so people can decide if they're ok with that. The spot itself is "ok", it's basically a long driveway with a small vineyard on each side, not far from a road though the road is mostly quiet, spot is in view of a few houses. Even without the dogs / barking it's not worth $60, maybe $30. There are much nicer spots for the same price. If they solved the barking problem and charged $30 or $35 it would be worth it. Lastly the owner stopped communicating mid-texts, if they hadn't I might have shared all this with them instead. I was patient and kind and they just dipped out with no further word. This was my first hipcamp experience, not great. I hope Duncan Peak does better for future guests.
