Cuyama Oaks Ranch

Perfect spot for stargazing! Nate's attention to detail is top notch, so many adorable and thoughtful touches at this site. The solar batteries made it so we were never left without power. Yes it's hot during the day, but soaking in the cowboy tub really helped, and the tent cooled way down at night. The animals are adorable, and Nate made sure to give us eggs for our first morning there. Beds are comfy and cozy, the yurt is more spacious than you'd think, and the donkeys provide plenty of comedic relief. Absolutely wonderful stay!!

Night Sky full of Stars!!

Pink Pony 2 yurt had all the views of the night sky to view the Perseid shower and see the Milky Way. The supplied pots, pans and chairs under the covered small patio and creature comforts of the comfortable bed made for a wonderful 2 night stay in mid August. Nathan was very kind and attentive to answer our questions. The new donkeys and small horse were a fun bonus to see. We will be back next year to also see the surrounding hills in all the green glory of spring.

Peaceful and relaxing campsite with beautiful views of the mountains and stars at night. The site had everything we needed and more - toilet, shower, sink, shaded area, tables, plates and utensils... It has been thoughtfully setup. Would love to stay here again with a larger group.

Happy Little Suburban Campers!

What a perfect little escape for families with young campers! We wanted our very first tent camping adventure to be as easy and stress-free as possible, and this was exactly the right place. Nate has truly thought of all the little details that make camping feel comfortable. Forgot your pots and pans? He’s got you covered. Left the dish soap at home? No problem. There were so many thoughtful extras that made us feel right at home and let us focus on making memories instead of worrying about what we forgot. Our kids absolutely loved the farm tour and spending time with all of the sweet animals. It was easy to see how much care and love Nate and his partner pour into both the farm and every animal that calls it home. That same warmth extends to their guests, too. If you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly place to unplug and introduce little ones to camping, we couldn’t recommend this spot more. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We had the best time camping at Nathan’s Land! My daughters (2 and 5) were obsessed with the site and had so much fun exploring. Every little detail was thoughtfully planned, and you can feel the care that went into creating such a welcoming space. We were amazed at all the amenities provided; even a speaker to connect our music to! It made the experience feel extra cozy and comfortable. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway. ❤️🏕️✨

My first car tent camping experience was amazing! 🏕️✨ It was the perfect getaway from home and work. The campsite was quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful views. One of my favorite moments was soaking in the tub while enjoying the cold weather and watching the sunset. 🌅🛁 It was so relaxing. The owner was very kind and helpful. He even helped us cook rice from his home. When the lights weren’t working, he provided us with a lantern and a small generator so we could charge our phones. His hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The windy weather made camping a little challenging at times, but it also kept us cool during the day. We enjoyed grilling, spending time with friends, and making unforgettable memories together. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing camping getaway.

A couples weekend away

We were looking for a place to unwind and get away from our busy life. This place was perfect place to do so. Everything was there for us to pull up with a cooler of food. Sleeping was extremely comfortable and taking a hot shower was the cherry on top. Nate was extremely accommodating, friendly, and made checking in and out easy. The farm animals was a great touch. We will come back in the future. Thank you Nate for your hospitality.

Pig Butt Group Camp

Nathan was wonderful camp site was well stocked and had plenty of activities available. He was accommodating when the littles wanted to go in with the animals and even helped watch my dog while I showered. 10/10 will be back even pulled in with the save of myself forgetting towels. Truly a gem in the desert.

Our group had a wonderful time at the jolly rancher camp! Nathan was super responsive to our questions and welcoming, the site was well stocked and everything was working well. It was so nice to have a private shower to wash the dust of the day off after walking around the ranch and saying hi to all the cute animals. We stayed Memorial Day weekend and even though all the sites were full they were spaced far enough away from each other to feel pretty private and the vibey solar lights made the whole ranch feel very magical (and easy to navigate) at night. Will def be back!

Perfect night in the desert.

This is a gem in the New Cuyama area. Ultra comfortable beds, all the aspects you would need for your kitchen, clean bathrooms, hammocks, glamping to its finest! They are fabulous hosts, chickens, goats, stars and a great get away to a slow down your soul! FIVE stars!

First camping trip

This spot was perfect for our first camping trip with the kids! Nathan is a gracious host and provided really every thing you can think of aside from food and clothing! The farm visit was the highlight of the trip. Our 3 yr old got to collect eggs and we ate them for breakfast the next morning! Nathan was awesome with the kids, truly. The accomodations were cute and clean - bed was comfy for two adults and two toddlers.
