We booked and paid in full for a specific site (T7). When we arrived around 9:30 PM, it was already occupied. The host confirmed in writing that the other guests were misplaced and had moved into our site without permission, and apologized. However, the on-site manager was unreachable, so we had to find another spot and set up ourselves late at night.
When we asked for compensation, we were first offered only 10% off a future stay, then refused any refund on the stay we’d actually paid for, with the host telling us the sites were “nearly identical.” The property itself is nice, but paying in full for a site you don’t receive, and then being dismissed when you raise it, left a bad impression. Disappointing handling of a problem that wasn’t our fault.
