Eagles Nest Overlook Cabin

Cabin · Sleeps 4 · 1 toilet
Not into tenting??? This Primitive 11' x 16' CABIN site, which is located under the tree tops would be perfect for you. High above the woods, with a nice deck to look down on wildlife. Large windows, patio door and plenty of room to sleep, read a book, relax and just escape naturally from life’s stresses. This is a work in progress, but still nice private space to naturally camp. Only cabin on the property. Very discreet/private spot away from the other campsites. Primitive means no electrical service, running water or heat/air conditioning. Restroom is an attached porta potty. Does have good cell service. Think of this as a solid wall tent with a roof. Just bring all your usual items for camping, but leave the tent home!! After you park and we greet you, we will take you on a short walk straight forward from the parking area, to the open to all communal area located at the top of the bluffs. The communal area is an open area in the sun with a firepit, grill, layout chairs and picnic table. Plenty of space. Cabin is forward to a small opening within the trees, down a short gravel incline path to the cabin’s front door. After you’re settled, feel free to wander the woods naturally, follow the trails down the hill. While walking past the large natural bluff stone wall remember to take a photo at the bench seat. At the end of the trail, you will find the additional location for camp sites, which are along the waterfront. Within this waterfront camping area is an open to all, large communal space with peaceful quiet space to listen to the river flow past. Area is 5-7 min walk from the cabin. Perfect spot to get away from the sounds of city life, un-stress from work/life and start to decompress. Enjoy the open sky full of stars and moon views. Great for reading a book, doing a little fishing, taking time to walk the woods naturally, getting some great photos to share on social media or personal private pics. Use the hammocks located within the trees along the river’s edge. Soak up the sun and refresh your vitamin D levels. Time slows down when here and you’re accepted as just you. It seems once you park and start the walk you leave behind the "real" world and get a chance to reconnect with yourself. Must be able to arrive by 8pm to book this spot.

Great place to connect with nature. Scott is very attentive to keeping the property free of weeds and spent time giving me a tour of the 15 acre property located along a river. The hammock he provided was perfect. Thank you!

Check this place out.
Scott and Kimberly were awesome host, they welcome us as friends. I loved the passion that Scott and Kimberly has put into their property, and care of the sites. Even though my wife and I aren’t nudist we appreciate the safety, the knowledge and care that Scott and Kimberly give. I definitely recommend checking the place out. I’m sure we will be back.

What a wonderful experience!
Scott & Kimberly were wonderful hosts. Upon arrival Scott offered to help cart my gear to the site with their 4x4 & wagon. The "cabin" was simple but perfect in every way. A nice balcony with a table & chairs and your own personal WC. The grounds are very large and easily walked with benches along the way to stop and take in the scenery of the rock cliffs, the Mother Tree, the pond and pasture, and several river vantage points. I spent hours lying in a hammock by the river with the sun and breeze blowing over me - it was glorious. I wish the weather had been nicer but it afforded me time to explore the local area with many state parks and sites of interest within an hours drive. A highlight of the trip was my massage. Truly a one-of-a-kind experience! I will certainly make it a goal to come visit again soon! Thank you for sharing your lovely property!

I had a wonderful time camping here with me and my boyfriend. We always had something to do like walking around in the woods or spending time in and out of the water and just even sitting at the campsite enjoying the views. The service was AMAZING since the campsite is a distance away we had assistance bringing our things to and from the campsite and reply’s super quickly if questions ever came up. The bathrooms are kept so nice and clean which was personally something I’m always looking out for when picking a campsite. This is somewhere I’d definitely be camping at again
