Fall Camping at its Finest!
I'll try to keep this short but the past couple days spent roaming around goatland were by far the best of the year. I have been all over the united states hipcamping and traveling, and this is definitely in my top three.. got the tour and the tips about the area from Jeanne and she left us alone the remainder of the time, which personally, I loved asking her questions about her land and hearing her talk about the goats -at the end of the day I visited here bc of them and to see how her farm was operated as I am interested in homesteading- she was my kind of gal for sure, really knowledgeable-and after checking out the indoor bathroom as the last stop she left us alone for the remainder of our visit, which I appreciate bc I could truly soak in the land and animals.. the trout pond was awesome to watch- however I believe they are more pets for Tom, and I don't think there's fishing for them, but they will come up to shore when they hear voices. The animals are all the cutest, especially the donkey, very therapeutic for me to say the least.. if you want hands on- this place is fo you 100% bring apples to feed the animals or pick them from the front tree. Peacocks, chicken, goats, donkey, sheep, cow.. oh my! Was such a blessing to make the stay, we booked another night instead of leaving.. I didn't want to leave day two :/ could of set up a tiny house where our tent was and just called it home! See yall again hopefully sooner then later. ♥
