Burra Burra Ridge in New South Wales
Host James Biddle says:
Perched on the ridge with spectacular views, our farm promises a true escape.
Located 25 minutes from the beautiful village of Taralga, ours is a spot to unwind.
With a large campsite, you can fit several large tents.
When permitted, there’s a great campfire set up with a grill ready to go. Please bring a back up gas cooker in case of fire ban.
There are no toilet facilities or fresh water, so you will need to come prepared.
Access is via a steep dirt road.
At night, the skies are majestic, and the sunrise and sunsets are spectacular.
Lots of wildlife including kangaroos, wombats, wallabies, owls, eagles, hawks, goats, deer, and the occasional reptile!
Taralga is home to the Grand Ettie cafe, the Argyle Inn, pub, general store and more. The famous Laggan Pub is 25 minutes and Crookwell just a bit past that.
The grass has been cut back for safety.
A couple of tables and 6 chairs are provided on site.
